Free Fire Reviews

Thank you for sharing these tips! I had no idea about some of these methods. I’m definitely going to try the group plan option with my friends. Fingers crossed it works out! https://techfilx.com/coin-master-free-spins/

Started out good, with good actors. Just became a ridiculous shoot out fest with no real direction or point. Just shooting shooting shooting. Literally no point to the movie other than shooting.

Quentin Tarantino with even bigger doofus' holding the guns

I DAMN LOVE THIS MOVIE. It's genius how Ben Weatley manages to make the action last 1 hour and a half. A great director who also directed other films like Kill List for example. The acting is moderate, the dark humor made me laugh a lot, the action changes at some points so as not to bore the viewer and I feel that Sharlto Copley and Armie Hammer are incredible in this film. Highly recommended

Underrated, nasty little movie. Almost like a play with constant gunfire. Brie Larson is severely underutilized in this. Her character wasn't developed nearly enough.

Terrible film, all those brilliant actors and they come up with that absolute nonsense. I hope this can save someone else from wasting an hour and a half of their life.

As some choose to complain about it, Free Fire is indeed shot practically in real time at a single location. That's not a fault, it's an accomplishment. In addition, it by no means is 'Tarantino-esque.' These characters are not clichés, which is not to criticize Tarantino's choices; it is to point out that the comparison fails. Free Fire is a contrast. The viewer watches as the support personnel on the criminal transaction completely take over from the supposed big guys. Just hired hands with no deep investment in the deal, their personal, seemingly petty, differences manage to overwhelm the agenda of the bigger fish. The viewer watches while the big-picture more worldly criminals, distinguished by their clothing, struggle to maintain, then regain control. Ultimately, all are reduced to lowest level: kill or be killed while hurling personal insults at the opposition. The distinctions among the ensemble of characters emerges entertainingly and a credible pace; nothing seemed a forced narrative. In addition, this is, IMHO, the only role that Armie Hammer shows can be on screen without demonstrating that he's acting. Had he not self-destructed, this would have been a great role upon which to build. In several ways, this film portrays the pretentiousness of "professionals" and the way they typically dismiss the "help." It also shows how thoroughly people can foul up intricate well-executed plans when they are completely untrustworthy of the simplest of responsibilities. It all goes to shit and nobody seems able to bring it back. Even with two distinct 'happy endings' floated at the conclusion of the film, nobody escapes the mess. On many levels there's much to Free Fire to enjoy.

The humour is often bone dry, and in an essentially American movie this is amazing. I'm not surprised half of the reviews don't get it, but it's both wickedly smooth and slapstick all at once. It couldn't have been done with garbage actors, but there wasn't a weak performance in any of the characters, and that really held it together. [minor spoiler] Favorite part? The getaway! I've never seen a movie with people doing stunts hanging off a moving vehicle doing 1mph before [end spolier] : hilarious and totally original.

A movie that knows it place and doesn't try to be anything other than a shoot'em up black comedy and doing it well. And for the most part it does.

Surprised this hasn't been done before... a close to one hour long shoot-out with a wide assortment of characters, lots of guns and shooting, and lots of people getting shot. It's a bang. Perhaps it's biggest fault is that no one really cares about a buncha nefarious sorts shooting their selves up.

Que filminho chatinho, não tive apego pelos personagens, o roteiro não me atraia, já sabia se tratar de tiro e mais tiros, o título não engana, o estilo de filme me agrada, mas esse em específico, não, e eu tentei…

Swearing crash course from starts to the end, nothing special just amature black market arms dealing. Ending of bullets in paintball war game, don't waste your time on this rubbish...

Ben Wheatley's streak of excellent films shows no sign of letting up anytime soon. With his vision of Daphne du Maurier's Rebecca due for release within the next year, it's a great excuse to trawl through his back catalogue, and you couldn't have much more fun than this 90 minutes of mayhem. Set almost entirely in a warehouse where an arms deal goes very, very wrong. It is a blast, in every respect.

Another amazing Ben Wheatley film. Everything this guy touches turns to gold. Spot on casting and brilliant characterisation. Sharlto Copley is fantastical funny, and the always watchable Michael Smiley is mesmerising. Great action and fabulously funny dialogue kept me rooted to the screen throughout. I watched it with my son. I am 61 and he is 31. We both absolutely loved it! Go Ben!!

Fun, lots of shooting, but just a little exhausting in the end.

Mar 14, 2021

it think they need to retitle it as " Misfire " because it fails in every respect. an extended battle scene is an interesting idea but stretching it to an entire film is bad idea
