Godzilla vs. Kong Reviews
NOT WHAT I EXPECTED i expected way more action and stuff, but, no honestly, i don't recommend hopefully the others are better.
OH MAN I LOVED THIS MOVIE! It’s such a good movie with 2 apex predators fighting AND bringing back Mechagodzilla the design’s of the kaiju were made well done 5 STARS
It's Not As Good As Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire or Godzilla: King Of The Monsters, But It's Better Than The Godzilla Film From 2014. The Lighting Is Great, The CGI Is Awesome, The Sound Effects Are Decent, But The Only Thing I Don't Like About It Are The Human Characters. In Godzilla Minus One The Human Characters Were Great. BTW, Godzilla X Kong: 3 Is Coming Out In 2027! But Back To Godzilla vs Kong. This Was Like Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice But Better! The Way They Use Godzilla As A Villain Though, That Just Doesn't Work Out. But Still! I Definitely Recommend You Watch This Movie! I Give It 4 Stars And An 8/10!
This movie is trying to do WAY too much. All it lacks is Star Wars characters, some Woody Allen, and some Saving Private Ryan stuff. I mean, it IS possible to try to make a Godzilla movie WAY too serious and convoluted. This movie does that.
Intense battles throughout the film, intense audio, no human drama, just Kaijus doing their thing..these are the best movies
Just a lot of mosters fight but like the others humans characters are not the best
Godzilla deaths was sad but it still was a good movie
Despite its plot holes, I thought this movie was absolutely fantastic. The visuals were amazing and the story was compelling. I definitely recommend it for monster movie and action fans!
This is more of a Kong movie than a Godzilla one but that is okay. There are not as many slow moments compared to the previous American film but I prefer the monsters in that one so overall they are about the same. The 3D is better in this one but still probably better to watch in 2D. The special effects are amazing again and there is some really great kaiju action. The human story is fine, I did find myself zoning out a little but the characters were engaging enough that I wasn’t bored.
Great action with a solid story.
As the title suggests, Godzilla and Kong go a few rounds. But once again, I'm glad there was an actual story. Plus, there's a surprise guest monster appearance!
This was definitely a Kong movie. After the Godzilla trilogy (films) it was so good to see the story focus shift back to Kong. They pushed the limits of Kong's character and his strength, giving him whole scenes and sequences as the true main character. We see him older now, and that gives this massive monster a bit of humanity, which makes all the fantasy that much more believable. The evolution of Godzilla was extremely cool, but also believable. It gave this particular monster a level up to keep the audience engaged with the king of the monsters without redoing something from a previous phone. While still a titular character, he took more of a supporting role while Kong took the lead. Pleasing to see the return of characters. Didn't quite have me with the new characters though. Dan Stevens played the only new character, and he served as the 'cool guy', but didn't offer a lot to the plot. And the "ice dragon" seemed out of place as it suddenly jumped into the story. Godzilla of course had to have a formidable enemy to pair up against in the final battle scene, but I'm not sure this was the way to do it. This character feels more.... magical, than the rest of the giant monsters... it doesn't seem to quite fit with the rest of creatures. Nevertheless, they didn't overwhelm with too many new characters. Focused on pre-existing ones, and developed those - like Jia, the girl from Skull Island. The Ewi culture comes back around to play a huge role in this climactic instalment in the Monsterverse. The backstory they provide shines light on the historic rivalry between Godzilla and Kong. All of this is of course tied to Jia, and her relationship with Kong and Dr. Andrews, and she is central to the climax of the film... Though I'm not sure why. Her involvement with "waking up Mothra" is... elusive, the script wasn't clear about that point and I wish it was. There was a built up to her importance, but all she did was lift her hand... what did that do? Where did Mothra come from? I'm glad they brought Mothra back. That character is so cool. It feels like a movie set in the future, and the score reflects that with techno-synth influences. Some SUPER special effects. No lie there. I'm not sure what all the excitement was about from the box office performance. It was a cool movie... but overall, still overshadowed by Dune: Part Two. Even in 3D, there was no competition here. The film ends with Kong taking leadership of the apes, finally a true king. Super cool to see.
Movie rocked! Best action movie I've seen in a long time. And best movie during covid. Impressed!
very good 👍 it's the battle we've been waiting for 60 years, and it was worth it! that's the reason this is my 11th fav movie
So good man i love this movie so much
This movie is a fever dream dude I like dumbass Disaster movies but this one is a lot man I guess I was high because I had NO idea what seemingly random stuff was happening but there is two ways to look at this movie looking at it critically its not very good and my star rating reflects that but as a movie to watch with your friends to laugh at its very good so that's my take if you like the other American Godzilla's you will probably like this one but if not you can defently miss this movie
Godzilla vs kong is the clash of previously portrait saviors of humankind. The brutal & violent battle between Godzilla & kong for the dominance & to determine who will be true ruler titan. In between twisted humans With advance technology trying to create their own champion. That will lead a treath to both titans & human existence. Sounds good But the movie is not great. There is no clear context of dialogue, story, emotions just chaos & destruction. Too many Human characters with no notion & had no impact Sequence just keeps going on and on.Story is low, too simple to imagine even for kids, there are slightness in the story. But action visuals was incredible only I liked Godzilla/kong/Mecha battle scenes. Holo earth looks unrealistic, unlogical. Some of the audience will find this film great but others will not fell anything.
condensed dosage of action
