Embora Clint Eastwood esteja em frente e atrás da câmera, dirigindo a si mesmo e protagonizando a própria direção, como ele já fez diversas vezes, não poderia existir um ator melhor que ele para o papel de Walt Kowalski, uma alma dura e conturbada, atormentada pelos demônios de seu passado, mas também, no fundo, carregada de afeto e empatia. "Gran Torino" é um tocante e surpreendentemente engraçado drama sobre como velhos veteranos de guerra lidam — ou não lidam — com os traumas das situações horríveis pelas quais eles passaram, vivendo em um mundo moderno, movido pelas gerações que lhes sucessederam e por valores e princípios completamente diferentes daqueles pelos quais eles foram moldados.

A very powerful drama and performance by Master Clint himself with great script that still manages to be very entertaining.

Filme bacana, o roteiro é bacaninha, a história é mais ou menos, o elenco é bom, mas só o Clint Eastwood salvou e melhorou o filme, as cenas são boas e deu uma melhorada no filme, e junto com as cenas do Clint Eastwood deram ao filme uma certa relevância, No final o Clint Eastwood estava na frente da casa dos bandidos e eles mataram ele, o final parecia ruim, quando a polícia prende todos eles, então Clint se sacrificou-se para prender os bandidos e ajudar sua família que nem risco de vida ocorra novamente, com tudo isso, eu recomendo esse filme, com o final bom que deixa o filme bacana.

It is good and well done, but not incredibly interesting. It gets kind of slow.

A solid comedy drama that takes the most cartoons hey bigoted cranky old man and slowly melts his heart as he makes a genuine friendship with a troubled youth and slowly becomes much closer to his Hmong family than his own white entitled offspring. The movie's obviously dated, but it's still an interesting character study and ends on an emotionally bittersweet note with that great titular song by Jamie Cullum.

It's sad and hard to watch at times, but still a very good Clint Eastwood film with a great story.

An absolute amazing film. Love this movie, just didn’t like the ending. Similar to a “Saving Private Ryan” ending.

I waited like 12 years to finally get around to watching this movie. IMHO it's unwatchable. Terribly acted including Clint ( who I love) and very poorly written. Totally unbelievable characters and events. Huge disappointment. Mostly because the acting across the board was just lousy!

This is just a wonderful wonderful movie. One of my all-time favorites.
