Green and Gold Reviews
We LOVED this Movie! Great Story and Cast! Great to see Acting Veterans M. Emmet Walsh and Greg T Nelson. Why don't they make must see wonderful movies like this more often.
These Simple Movie are worth the Watch as they are more True to Life and are a simple watch without much thinking B Grade Films are really good and there are so many like this out there that are Just Enjoyable
My partner and I are always looking for depth in movies. Moral fabric and good story lines have went out the window in Hollywood where weird and sick rules. This movie is exactly what we crave!
Not a great movie. It's a good movie bordering on very good. Good actors and writing is good. A charismatic actor as the lead character would have made this a way better movie.
I was originally excited about the movie Green and Gold because it was created by guys from my hometown. I looked forward to picking up on the local references, including the radio program I grew up with. What I didn't expect was a tearjerker that flooded me with memories of a simpler, dare say, better time! I appreciated the family dynamics and the believable portrayal of the characters by actors who had probably never been to my little part of the country. As testament to the power of this movie, even my boyfriend could be seen wiping away a tear or two (he said he had something in his eyes). Thank you for showing the audience the beauty and serenity of the sadly disappearing family farm. This movie was magical! Signed, a lifelong Bears fan.
It was a simple movie of struggling life for small farmers. It was well acted and a beautiful story of the hardship amid seeing it as a lifestyle and taking care of nature and helping people. My father-in-law was such a farmer and though its hard it has rewards if you love the land and making things happen. I had gotten impression somehow that this story was and Packers part was reality based, but it isn't. Doesn't change my view of the movie. Probably won't be liked by people who like action over substance. Lot of nice moments in the movie.
It was well portrayed and directed. Great characters for the actors.
It was entertaining, good acting, heartwarming but a bit slow. The short explaining the making of the movie, which was shown about 10 min. before the movie started was interesting.
Realistic, a real touching story. Felt authentic, genuine. Wonderful performances in a cast that wasn't totally familiar to me beyond Craig T. Nelson. The decision to filming the movie on location in Door County, Wisconsin, was crucial to making this movie a great one!
Excellent work telling the story of Wisconsin dairy lifestyle and local culture. Authentic.
Great work to all! We loved it and Wisconsin farmers!
Fantastic movie ! So close to home ❤️
Enjoyed it very much some unexpected things happening in the movie. Not the singer was gonna be a helper.
An exceptional movie that had the wind effect on the eyes! Must watch movie!
Loved seeing support to the farmers and GBP team. And of course, the cows!
This was a very inspiring movie.
It was very enjoyable to watch a heartfelt movie about real wholesome life. No killings, no murder, no drugs. Life so missed.
The movie was great! Finally a down to earth movie with no violence
The heart of the American culture at risk with modern day changes. Depicts the value of community and caring and totally uplifting
Full of heart. I left this movie feeling so grateful for community, yearning to be in nature, and reminded of the important things in life.
