The Grudge 2 Reviews
Trop d'incohérences
A mess. A highly entertaining and occasionally spooky mess, but a mess nonetheless. Not bad but not great.
The first one is always better but I see the vision for this and I think it works in most ways tho I don’t agree with all of the characters actions in the movie but no movie is perfect
I really did not understand anything but it was entertaining enough even though it has a convoluted story line.
Not as good as the first one but still a good movie. I confirm 2 things: 1) I don't understand the hate 2) Kayako Saeki scares me
A poor imitation of the dumb original.
This movie has a cool character but it is boring. The killer only kills after some time and between the killing scenes, it is boring. It would be a lot better with jumpscares, more killing scenes and a lot more stuff between the killer scenes instead of talking and other boring stuff. It jumped scared only 1 time but the rest of the scenes with the Grudge is not scary. The characters in the movie are stupid and they always fall down, at least making it a little realistic for their reactions. This movie is stupid. I rate this 4/10 (Okay).
This film is badly made, is more laughable than scary and really is the weakest entry in the series. Overall, I'd say it's probably not worth a watch.
Yep, this was kind of bad. The plot was all over the place and left you confused and grasping for information, in a bad way. Also, it was essentially the first movie but with more characters and less scary parts. Some moments were kind of creepy, but the actual "jump scares" were cheap and kind of goofy. No movie was better than a sequel, apparently.
Much better than part 1 more Story more Mystery and no Jump scare But bad things is Film duration 1 hour 40 min it make me scare Just a little bit ,i mean it not scary enough.
Not as scary as the 2004 version but the grudge 2 still delivers some effective scares
Amber Tamblyn is the lone bright spot in another forgettable entry to this franchise. The two main plot threads followed throughout the length of the film are almost entirely disconnected. The film is marred by nearly-universal poor acting and a story that starts at point A and ends at point A. The ever-creepy ghost of Kayako has a high ceiling, but this film again wastes the spirit's potential.
Grudge 2 does a really good job at scaring its audiences and with amazing acting from Amber Tamblyn, Edison Chen, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Takako FujI, Ohga Tanaka and the rest of the cast...comes a terrifying and smart Japanese ghost story. We owe a huge thanks to director Takashi Shimizu for making such scary movies for us to watch and enjoy and for Takako Fuji for her excellent performance as the evil ghost in all 6 Ju-on films respectively.
