Halloween Kills Reviews
I really enjoyed this one, especially the ending. Its is not as good as the first one in the series, but its pretty good. Definitely better than the original sequels.
pretty boring, but not bad had its up and downs, Myers was straight up brutal in here, I just wish Laurie had more screen time instead of being in a hospital the whole movie, but the firefighter scene was awesome, bringing tommy back just to kill him near the end was really stupid, and Myers getting beat up? come on... anyways its a alright movie might even be better than resurrection..
I really loved this movie
This basically feels like the Terrifier 3 of the H40 trilogy, as I call it. It's a middle chapter, but at least this time we have the end chapter to go with it. But, it's a pretty solid sequel to the 2018 film and is generally quite an entertaining slasher film, also tying into the 1978 film decently. Let's get into it. Firstly, I noticed that this takes a bit from Halloween 2. It's set on the same night as the previous film and Laurie is in hospital for most of it. But it also has differences that make it a great sequel to the 2018 film. It shows that Haddonsfield is taking a stand and are taking action against Michael via hunting him down, which feels satisfying after 9 other films of Michael terrorizing the town, even if 8 of them aren't canon (H3 and H20 are excluded as H3 doesn't have Michael as the villain and H20 is set in California). And Michael is great again. What I like about the trilogy is that it doesn't attempt to show us why Michael does what he does. He's still like an alien threat, as he should feel, and it works, as he feels unstoppable. Also the scene at the start with him and the firefighters was great, as were most of his action scenes, and the fact that he looks partially burnt makes him stand out in this one. His unstoppable nature is why I like this film: it shows that Michael is a big threat. Overall, it's a solid middle chapter for David Gordon Green's H40 trilogy.
A little less good than the 2018 movie, but I like this one a lot too. Definitely recommended giving this a watch
I loved Halloween Kills!! I like how it takes place after Halloween from 2018. I was surprised that Michael lived the fire! I had no idea that he'd lived! Halloween Kills was amazing! 5/5!
The sequel to the remake for this Gen Z. A horror movie with some familiar characters played by some familiar faces, if you look at the credits.
Ive seen better writing and dialog in a B movie than this. it was insanely bad.
With the exception of a few notable murder scenes and dialogue too cheesy to belong in a movie this expensive, Halloween Kills is a forgettable entry in the franchise that'll have the viewer digging through their physical or digital archives to rewatch the original classic.
Halloween Kills is just countless gore porn for those enjoying 2018’s Halloween continuation. While the story lacks depth, it offers a basic and enjoyable experience for fans of Michael Myers. Even as a horror enthusiast, I have a soft spot for this film. Grading: C
The more I watch this, the more I like it. Could still lose the “evil dies tonight” crap. I like the quote! Could have been done better, too much unnecessary filler. But the music is great, some brutal kills. Michael is angry… from the fire track and scene is one of the best in the series. A fun watch.
Esse filme têm um título muito sincero. Esse filme não avança muito na trama, mas é legal. Funciona e é muito melhor do que várias sequências de Halloween
I love this horror sequel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EVIL DIES TONIGHT !! A horror sequel done right. The Halloween movies aren’t as scary as they used to be but the kills were brutal this time around
It's a complete mess and often BORING. Too much is going on and not enough Michael. Whoever thought this sequel would do good must've been drunk. I thought it failed as a Halloween movie. Barbie was better than this confusing piece of junk. And that stupid "Evil dies tonight" chant is annoying, irritating and overall stupid! I can't believe they casted Anthony Michael Hall in this. Seriously?! He should've just stuck to playing a geek/dork like in Breakfast Club and in Sixteen Candles! I guarantee you this will be his final and LAST film for Hollywood. He played the best nerd in the 80's though, but he definitely wasn't meant to act in a horror film even if he tried. He was horrible in this film and looks too old for a Tommy Doyle character. Remember, Tommy Doyle was just a little boy in the original and shouldn't look this old. They should've casted a younger looking Tommy for the part.
This movie is a bit messy, but it managed to keep me entertained the whole time. I loved the flashbacks to the sequence of events that took place in 1978 and the kills were just extremely brutal in this one. I think everbody loved the Dr. Loomis cameo and even if it was cgi, it was still nice to see him again for one last time. The level of violence in this movie reminds me of the remake of Halloween in 2007. The mask was so good in 2018 and it is even better in this film because it was burned from the fire. Michael managed to kill an entire mob after being shot, beaten, sliced and this man was already missing two fingers. Laurie Strode felt helpless throughout this whole movie because she was immobilized due to the fact that Michael stabbed her in the stomach. Overall, I was kept entertained the whole time and it was not a bad written movie.
Me atrapaste efectivamente es cine 🚬🗿🍷
“Evil dies tonight.” I thought the kills were gory. Michael definitely did some damage in Haddonfield. Can’t wait to see Michael and Laurie finally end it all in the next one. 5/5 stars.
While it undermines the careful story building of its predecessor, Halloween Kills, as you’ll have gathered from the title, has more than enough gore to keep both audiences and slasher aficionados happy. Does what it says on the tin.
A sequel to the 2018 reboot, this one brings more gore, death scenes and the good old characters like Laurie and Michael Myers. This film exemplifies the evil that is inside Myers and how it seems to be invincible. Great film in the technical aspect, and not very deceptive in the storytelling aspect.
