Happily N'Ever After Reviews
It wasn't that bad, it's a okay & good film, it's ture that the film was a Shrek ripoff, but it was fine & okay cause this was a alternate universe to Shrek. Still good movie.
I absolutely love it!
happily never after is really great don't listen to the reviews
No wonder it has a 6% in the TomatoMeter.
animation is lame characters are lame eh.... yeah lame
When I saw this only had 6% on here, I was appalled. If you like/love Shrek, give this movie a chance please. I've loved this movie since I was a kid. It's seriously worth a watch.
Happily N'ever after was total garbage. Dull animation and a dumb, horrendous storyline.
What does this exist for?
One of my absolute favorite childhood movies. Sure the effects and the look of the film is groggy, sure the main characters might be predictable but mambo and munk carry the movie and are very relatable characters. On top of that sound track is fire. Most of the bad reviews are obviously adult views which of course is not the target demographic. Growing up with this, seeing it while I was young. Pretty good movie. I've also seen the sequels and rewatch the first one to this day as it is the best. Big fan.
This movie is a marterpiece, funny and beautiful, so good that may appear bad to who dont know how to be happy.
3 words, "Survivalist Redneck Elves" - this movie was a riot, Witches with Harley brooms, and George Carlin's last film project. What is not to like!
This movie is my childhood watching it up at the camper
Terrible. I enjoyed ten glorious minutes of this film when I feel asleep in the cinema, before waking to realise the torture hadn't ended, and I had another half an hour to endure. My son must have only been 3 or 4 when we watched it, he never mentioned it again, unlike other films from the time that he loved, and has no recollection of it at all, now he is nearly 17.
Happily N'Ever After is another one of the bad "Gave the Crazy" saga, meaningless script, terrible effects, a waste of time.
I don't know why people hate this movie so much. It's not the perfect movie, but it's still really enjoyable to watch! The animation looks great and the jokes are pretty funny! Totally worth a watch
The movie that began the decline of the fractured fairy tale subgenre, Happily N'Ever After wastes a talented voice cast on a disastrous cartoon feature with bland animation, generic character designs, failed attempts at being snarky, having a plot that's downright confusing and a screenplay that amplifies the flaws of the fairy tale parodies and heavily downplays, if not outright gets rid of, their merits. The cat was entertaining, though. The worst out of Vanguard Animation's holy trinity of bad animated features they released in the decade and only stands out for how it, alongside the comparatively much better Shrek the Third, led to the decline of this specific type of spoof film.
