Love a rom com, absolutely hated this! Boring, story was pretty grim and mostly main characters lack any chemistry. Because of grimes I had high hopes, but I hated every minute of this film! The love story between them was utterly unconvincing. I’ve seen better hallmark movies to be honest. Feels like a low budget amateur film made by a group of high schoolers for a school project.

Light hearted, charming characters, easy watch.

Rubbish romcon that is basically a load of people who should never have gone into the wilderness as they gave no idea about how to survive, if anyone follows their methods in real life they could get themselves and others killed!

So cute! One of my favorite movies because it’s so feel-good. And Luke grimes!! 😍

It may be formulaic in that romantic comedy way but it stills gives you lots of cozy moments that you can watch over and over again. Makes me want to go on a hike with some randos in hopes of self-discovery...and some good laughs.

Slow going, I might watch it again as background noise. If you are expecting Luke grimes from Yellowstone you will be let down.

A bear attack at the end would have been the only thing to save this awful movie.

The type casting and script are so awful it would have been unwatchable if it was made in 2004.

So the book “Happiness for Beginners” written by Katherine Center was SOOO good ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️! Sadly the movie was extremely disappointing. It didn’t stick to the storyline of what actually took place. The movie left out so much of what made the romance and connection so beautiful in the book. I also agree there was no chemistry between the main characters.

I really liked the chemistry between the characters. Luke never hid how he felt you could see it in his eyes and the way he looked her. I just loved it.

I loved this movie, it's an easy breezy rom com, chemistry of Luke and Ellie is amazing, the supporting cast is great...I would love to see what happens next with Jake and Helen!

I love it!!!! I get the biggest smile while watching it. I am someone that does not like to rewatch movies. I've rewatched at least 5x. It's an escape. I wanted more.

It's a bland rom-com even though I'm a Kemper fan. The outdoor hiking adventure doesn't supply as much humor as it could - but its warm and fuzzy.

This is such a great movie. It was witty and didn't rely on crude/foul language for humor. Loved the main character. She played it so well. Very well done.
