There are some fun cameos by horror veterans and some insane kills but other than that it’s an very lame slasher with barely a plot and unlikeable characters

Um grupo de turistas vai fazer uma excursão de barco pelos pântanos de Nova Orleans, porém o seu barco fica preso e afunda, obrigando-os a entrarem pântano adentro em busca de ajuda. Porém, eles passam a ser o alvo de Victor Crowley, a assombração local. Incrível que, em plenos anos 2000, temos uma cópia descarada de Sexta-Feira 13, com um assassino subJason, com a mesma história: uma criança deformada criada por um dos pais (aqui o pai). Nenhuma das vítimas despertou empatia e você esperava para ver a morte logo. Apesar dos efeitos bem feitos e as cenas bem sangrentas, as cenas de morte são muito rápidas. E o duro que isso gerou uma franquia.

Cheesy and cliche but not in a likable way. Characters are annoying and are even more stupid than the usual horror protagonists. Complete waste of time.

1.7 but kinda watchable

The story is very 80s slasher feel with horror royalty. Being 80s style is a good as well bad. As it has some really annoying character. But Victor Crawley is an excellent slasher villain, the gore effects are amazing. Mostly practically created. The ending leaves questions if you know what know about the sequels but overall, it's a very good slasher movie.

Hatchet is a movie you're uncle has been going on about for its gruesome kills and memorable ampnosphere. And you should absolutely listen to youre uncle. haunted ghost tour gone rabbed and completely unpredictable while the entire world has no idea of the carnage a small tour has. While it does have some flaws that dosen't exempt you of viewing it as a horror fan.

Hatchet is really a fun slasher horror comedy with buckets of blood and gore and boobas but some scares are not jumping but the jokes is good.

Hatchet is a fun flick that has an 80's slasher feel, with some well known horror icons in it. Having said that, don't go into it expecting a groundbreaking movie. It has a basic, cookie cutter plot and stereotypical characters like the dumb females, the lone person of color, and a hot kickass female who falls for the nerd. The first Hatchet is a love letter to classic 80s Slashers but also borders on the line of a self parody fans of classic horror should enjoy this film as long as they don't take it too serious.
