Hitch Reviews
Hilarious movie. I totally recommend it.
Pretty cute movie with a few strange themes, but good intent and sweet moments here and there
Hilarious and unique concept! Highly recommend!
All the traits of a romantic comedy. I think they didn't change or added any. Just like the script says. It has its (very few) moments.
I watched this on blu ray recently. I thought it was very entertaining, with engaging characters set in pleasant locations. Will Smith's charisma makes the film zip along effortlessly for the most part. The story is interesting, and has enough depth to give it some meaning. Over all I enjoyed watching and would recommend it. On a technical point, about 35 minutes in there is a scene at a marina which opens with a wide pan shot. I was watching the blu ray on my PS3 which is recognised as a great player, but this pan shot looked very stuttery and un-natural. I expected much better, and I'm thinking blu ray is not as good as it should be.
espantaviejas movie part 6666
Liked it in 2005 and still like it.
Will smith kills it in this movie
Tope de gamuza. Excelente pelicula. De las mejores comedias románticas que hay.
this movie was absolutely brilliant. It is a hilarious comfort movie you can always turn on for a quick laugh. Will Smith and Kevin James have amazing chemistry in this movie, and Hitch also has amazing rizz. Highly reccomend
The movie "Hitch" starts off well, offering genuinely good advice for men on relationships and introducing us to interesting characters. The story follows Hitch (Will Smith), a man who is an expert in dating women, as he takes Albert (Kevin James) under his wing. Normally, Albert would have no chance with the woman he desires (Amber Valletta as Allegra), but with Hitch's guidance, love might just be in the air. Surprisingly, Kevin James delivers a good performance in this movie. Will Smith is his usual charming self, but the chemistry between the two actors really shines. The film has its share of touching, funny, and even romantic moments (just not between James and Smith). When the male leads are doing their comedic parts, the movie is enjoyable, and when it's being truthful, it feels genuine. However, the last third of the film hurts it the most. The story had been avoiding the usual tropes of romantic comedies, but then it turns into a generic romance plot. The inclusion of the big misunderstanding, the chase, the earth-shattering revelations, and the dramatic resolution, all because no one can communicate properly, is frustrating. This movie contains one of my all-time pet peeves, where characters suddenly lose their brains and make the same mistakes we've seen over and over. Despite its good parts, "Hitch" falls short of being a truly great, original romantic comedy. (On DVD, October 30, 2012)
out of all the romcoms ive seen with my boyfriend this is the one i disliked the least, it was funny some of the time instead of none of the time and will smith is always hot so it gets points for that 10/10 on the boyfriend happiness scale but a 6.5/10 for actual quality, would recommend to people who actually like romcoms
HITCH holds up remarkably well, and is particularly elevated by the chemistry between Will Smith and a hilarious Kevin James.
I saw this movie in June of 2023. Considering the continuous stream of cheap and substandard movies, this movie made me smile. The movie had decent flow and was on point. I'm not a big fan of romance/comedy movies, but I would still recommend this. Solid 7.
Love it. Always have; always will
One of my favorite movies of all time again. Love this movie! I love movies that have a storyline that's not common in a lot of movies. Thus is also really hilarious.
Really funny moments and a good cast
I thought this film was good, and original too for a rom-com. It also evokes days gone by where you could actually walk around New York city without being mugged, or stabbed, or worse. So sad about the city now.
Even though the real life is far from what he plays in some of his movies, this was still a fun movie so top marks.
Hitch is a fun movie starring Will Smith and Kevin James where Will Smith plays a match maker named Hitch who does his best to match people so they can be happy together. One day his services are solicited by a sloppy guy named Albert played by Kevin James who wants to date his boss whos a very wealthy rich woman who is very hot. Hitch also struggles to date a woman he is into played by Eva Mendes named Sarah. The movie is funny with some really nice moments that try to show the beauty of love and the struggle of dating. Sometimes the movie struggles between being a funny movie and a romance movie yet Will Smith does a great job as Hitch with his signature charisma and it has a beauitful although predictable ending.
