It doesn’t matter that this film isn’t the best of scripting, it is fun for a nice film night. It is good that not all films need to have a purpose or goal. The humor is good, even it is a bit over the top. Rob Schneider imitates a perfect teenage girl. And Rachel McAdams plays an amazing imitation of a crook of a Rob Schneider! “I have to do WHAT?!” Anna Faris is fantastic as April, and you can understand with her facial over expression why she landed later on in the Scary Movie franchise! Even smaller roles like Booger bring warmth and a laugh Adam Sandler’s small role, will be remembered as hilarious in things like “look there you can store your weed” and Meghan Kuhlmann as Hildenburg is great! The script is predictable and it might lack depth, but does that matter? Not at all, I found it comic as hell!

Filme bacana, o roteiro é bacaninha, o filme tem cenas bacaninhas, gostei do rob Schneider como protagonista, o elenco é bacana e ajuda a melhorar um pouco o filme e a trilha sonora de rock do fiome deu um ajuda também no filme, com tudo isso, eu até que recomendo esse filme.

A simply terrible take on the Freaky Friday/Vice Versa/etc. formula. The only reason I continued watching was to appreciate the adorable Anna Faris.

This is cult classic! The amount of negative reviews is astounding! This is one of my favorite movies!

Lowkey a guilty pleasure. I was gonna give it a 3 bcuz of the acting in some parts but overall its super funny. SUPER cliche but still funny🤷🏽‍♀️Surprised it did this bad but ig i get why some may not like this.

It's a corny lighthearted plot but is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Rob Schneider and Anna Harris both deliver that cheesy comedy that we all need sometimes. 20 years later and I still laugh.

Ridiculous, but fun.  Okay... Not the best movie and definitely a little dated, but I still found it charming in all its wackiness and in it's earnest approach at an otherwise admittedly ridiculous premise.

for 2002: actually one of the more tolerable Happy Madison productions big laughs, gross-out jokes, sexual humor and then some Rob Schneider actually does an amazing job playing the opposite sex this movie's more of a fantasy than a realistic situation but whatever oh Adam Sandler, how I love your cameos and this movie does say beauty and perfection arent as are they're cracked up to be I love the supporting cast of Anna Faris and the little brother they still manage to bring in some sentiment into this thing props for that!

It's fun to rewatch The Hot Chick once in a while but it lacks comedy, drama and story of the other side.

I don't know why so many critics left such bad reviews when honestly this movie is one of my all time favorite throw back comedies it is so light and fun and silly. I loved rob as Jessica he makes me laugh so hard I cry. This is one of those movies I can play over and over and never get bored. I think some people don't realize this was a comedy from the early 2000s so it went with those times. I hope rob sees my review because I truly love this film and when I'm feeling down I turn this on and it makes me feel better. So many funny scenes with him in this movie and I loved them all😍 kinda pissed me off when I saw the critics reviews… maybe y'all should try and not take comedies so seriously and just watch and have fun. Thank you rob for one of my favorite movies of all time :)
