Hubie Halloween Reviews
Hubie Halloween is a horrific movie that lacks inspiration.

Hubie Boucher, I mean Hubie Halloween, tries but can’t recreate the magic of old-school Sandler comedies. It ultimately misses its mark by recycling more storylines and characters than George Lucas.

There are a few decent jokes sprinkled in, but most of the scenes are little more than Sandler goofing around with his pals.

You have to respect any film whose central thesis echoes the philosophy of the Bryan Fuller Hannibal 온라인카지노추천 series, and also, June Squibb in tacky T-shirts is never not funny.

You can call it 'not having taste' or dismiss it as contrarianism - either way, Adam Sandler still doesn't [care], and Hubie Halloween is still just as excellent.

Overall, Hubie Halloween is a likeable movie. It is fun despite everything. It will make you laugh, and will keep you hooked for every one of those 100 minutes. There are worse ways to spend time.

Now this is a rare sight: a Happy Madison production that is not entirely terrible?

Without grace, without plot and with actors who force the funny face every five seconds hoping to get an easy laugh. [Full review in Spanish]

It's nothing spectacular in terms of its story and execution, but it certainly provides some light humor against a nostalgic Halloween backdrop.

Fresh because it's the first Adam Sandler movie in ages that didn't make me want to scoop my eyeballs out with a spoon.

It's harmless but forgettable. Sandler is using the same bag of tricks he's been using for over 20 years, but it is better than most recent Happy Madison films.

The Netflix original movie is really not bad. It tones down the usual Sandler elements into some very harmlessly charming moments. And 'restrained' is really the word for it.

Delivers what Adam Sandler fans want: dopey, moronic fun.

Shot on location in Salem, MA, the Halloween themed production design is fantastic, I had a smile on my face the whole time.

45 minutes in, I came to a very disturbing realization - I don't hate this.
| Original Score: 6/10 | Oct 29, 2020
Accomplishes its goal of delivering stupid, lame comedy where many of the gags land. As for me, I need one of those from Sandler every couple of years.

While it certainly won't convert his detractors, if you do enjoy Sandler's work and are in the mood for a goofy Halloween comedy, then Hubie Halloween just might be worth a viewing.

Sandler has done some brilliant dramatic work over the years, so it's a pity he persists in churning out such garbage-level comedy. But if Netflix keeps chucking millions at you, what are you going to do?

Faeces, farts and a whole swag bags worth of immature fun, Hubie Halloween is Sandler at his best/worst.

Hubie Halloween is a feel good Halloween movie with heart. If you're not a fan of Adam Sandler's kind of comedy you may not enjoy it, but overall it has laugh out loud moments.
