I Still Believe Reviews
A amazing true story of faith and love. It brought my wife and I to tears. I would give it 20 stars if I could.
Great movie. Captivating, moving, heartbreaking and heart lifting. Great performances from actors. Amazing true story of faith and endurance.
Very deep and emotional. Highly recommend this movie!
I watched mainly for Shania, but it's pretty decent.
It is a very nice movie! I love it
I rewatched this one too after a day after i rewatched A walk to remember because i wanted to compare them, these movies are similar, but different at the same time, this is about a couple trying to fight cancer together. A walk to remember is about the way love change London's character and shape him into an ambitious person. I felt like this one was so rushed at the beginning, with an insta-love but i loved the middle and the end
Incoherent christan garbage - borderline delusional storytelling.
Brilliant! Great acting. Beautiful story. You WILL love it!
Pretty good. It's of a type of movie you've likely seen before, but it works.
I Still Believe is a decent film. It is about Jeremy Camp and his journey of love and loss. K.J. Apa and Britt Robertson give good performances. The script is a little slow in places. Andrew and Jon Erwin did alright jobs directing this movie. I liked the motion picture because of the drama and music.
This is an excellent movie: well done in every way. The acting, music, theme, love story, etc... Most compelling is the hope it brings as we have ALL experienced heart ache and loss. It is not overly "preachy" or full of scripture (tho that's fine with me), and it is appropriate for almost all audience ages. The latter part is EXTREMELY sad, yet there is a comfort and peace that threads throughout to the very end. Jeremy Camp's deep loss seems more understood when viewers, thru this movie, fathom the once-in-a-lifetime love he had with Melissa- a depth and intimacy that few people experience in this life. I'm a bit surprised that the rotten tomatoes gave it only a 49% rating, but the fact that the audience gave it 99% says all you need to know about its impact and level of popularity. HIGHLY recommend, (but have the tissues ready)!!! :)
touching , sad true story!
Excellent cast and moving story. I have to admit as a Christian I find a hard time liking Christian movies. I was very surprised how authentic the cast was. Especially the lead actor and actress. Also very good performances by Gary Sinise and also Shania Twain. It also was moving to see how faithful Jeremy Camp was to his wife till the end. Go see it, you won’t regret it.
I liked it, it didn't had that ''appeal'' most christian movies have, it just told a story, a very sad one by the way. I think people did not like it because they relate movies that talk about God with that appeal I said this movie didn't have, I mean, okay, I'll admit that most christian movies can be pretty annoying because of that, but I seriously didn't think this movie had that. I liked it, I always liked Jeremy Camp in general, but this movie was somethink else.
The movie is so outstanding I cry at the end and it feels like an angel is close to me and I flashback to remember the past that the people that I lost and come back to remember them again 🥺
While the message itself is somewhat bearable and, for me, could be appreciated—the film itself? The characters are undercooked in development and personality, (take Jean-Luc, who's only qualifying trait is that he is a big shot musician), and the main romance of the film develops much too quickly to bear- I would have appreciated a closer look into Camp's childhood and family, as both of these are heinously omitted and left for the viewer to ponder. In-the-film Jeremy is downright air headed. He meets Melissa, is immediately star struck, and then…predictable path ensues. A heartwarming message at its core, but a underbaked and half assed cast at its surface.
This movie is amazing? All of the critics saying it is "too Christian" for their liking are not looking at the big picture. This is a true story. It's not trying to "shove religion down your throat", and it is so beautiful. Definitely a tear-jerker. 100% recommend.
It was a Christian movie mix of "Love Story" and a bland "Star is Born." I vote with the critics on this one.
Incredible movie and story about the life of Jeremy Camp and the challenges he faced with his first wife Melissa. Wonderful cast too and the same producers from the movie "I can only Imagine" which was also incredible.
