Delivers solid laughs and thrills wrapped up in an infectious sense of character.

This prehistoric buddy pic has a heart bursting with good intentions, something that goes a long way in dimming from memory its inherent routineness.

Not as cute as it looks.

Manages to remain consistently entertaining and delightful throughout.
| Original Score: 4/5 | Mar 18, 2002
No evolutionary leap forward in the world of computer-generated animation, just another palatable, familiar children's diversion in shiny new form.

Family entertainment at its most bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.
Full Review | Original Score: 4.5/5 | Mar 15, 2002
Full of visual dazzle, engaging characters and a reasonably sprightly narrative.

A minor delight but a delight just the same ...
| Original Score: 3/4 | Mar 15, 2002
... ranks up there in the highest class of animated features.
