The original Ice Age is actually as good as I remember when I watched it as a kid. The humour contrasts perfectly for all ages. Loved this film, the only thing I would add is that the events in the film is not as good as others in the future. (There are better films in the franchise even though this one is still good)

Who would have thought a first CGI movie by FOX (& Blue Sky Studios) which turns into an iconic franchise became so phenomenal? Things I love are: the casting which really matches their roles & they make it really funny as well. There is even a meaning about taking care of a minor on its own. A trio of animals have helped to raise a baby in danger, Roshan (whether you liked him or not), without his mother & send him safely to his family. Manny was just so afraid to lose somebody to care of, like when he lost his old family to humans in case it happened to them.

It's perfect, it's brilliant, it's amazing. This is an animated movie I could watch over and over because it truly teaches while also being funny. What I mean is that it had both morality and humor in an equally great balance. It's such a shame that they don’t make animated films like this anymore—I miss those days. I really hope that one day, such great and perfect animated films will return to the big screen and succeed because, honestly, what comes out today is a disgrace to humanity (unfortunately, I have to write this in my review).

This was a good and funny movie. But it was a little boring at times.

Never liked any of these movies, but this one was the best, not a very high bar though

I just re-watched this, for maybe the 5th time. It's pretty good but hasn't aged well. Compare it with modern animation like in The Wild Robot... Having said that, the characters are likeable!

By far the best movie of the franchise, and the only one other than meltdown that I would see several times. The story is based around how animals would really act in the Ice Age, and brings along a herde like sense of unity. The main star in the movie is definitely Sid the slof who is quite amusing.

"Ice Age" is one of the best animated movies of all time! From the hilarious Sid, to the amazing story this is definetly a must see, and by far the best Ice Age movie.

Ice Age ist tatsächlich für mich einer der besten Animationsfilme allerzeiten.Die Charaktere sind sehr toll geschrieben und jeder einzelne von ihnen hat seine eigenen Charakter Eigenschaften.Auch wenn die Animation nicht so gut gealtert ist sah sie für darmalige Verhältnisse extrem gut aus.Wirklich ein sehr toller und unterhaltsamer Film für alle Altersgruppen.Kinder werden bei diesen Film den Spaß ihres Lebens haben.Ice Age hat auch ein sehr großes Franchise erschaffen.Nur schade wenn man bedenkt was für schlechte Filme aus dieser Reihe wir noch bekommen haben aber dieser Film mit dem alles anfing ist extrem gut.
