Innocence Reviews
Innocence feels much more inspired than most films of its ilk, even if it's not wholly successful. At least do the film a favor and ignore the appalling poster art.
| Original Score: 2.5/5 | Sep 5, 2019
By the finale, Innocence succumbs to the weight of its lack of originality, but for viewers who are open to more of the same so long as it's decently done, it's acceptable fare with a bit of flair.

So boring that the main character is sleepwalking her way through the clichés.

The student suicide rate is a dab on the high side in the tepid teen thriller, "Innocence."

Tiresome and incoherent - don't bother...
| Original Score: 2/10 | Sep 15, 2014
Paranormal YA-based teen thriller is creepy and forgettable.
| Original Score: 2/5 | Sep 15, 2014
Since it teases viewers to the point of frustration, by the time you figure out the secret behind the paranormal happenings, you probably won't care.

... there's little appeal for the Twilight/Hunger Games demographic let alone general audiences. Brougher collaborated on the screenplay and could have easily moved things along to make the narrative arc less narcoleptic.
| Original Score: 1 | Sep 5, 2014
Innocence, adapted from Jane Mendelsohn's novel, boasts a wicked setup, some strong performances, several gloriously bloody spook-out images, and a movie-wrecking hypoglycemic listlessness.
| Sep 5, 2014
Innocence takes its time setting an intriguing scene, letting the uncanny gauntlet of adolescence echo the trepidation about women in power working together toward undoubtedly creepy ends and the ghosts that haunt the privileged.
| Sep 5, 2014
Talk about something needing to be sacrificed, this film should have a stake driven through its cinematic heart to ease its suffering and that of any viewer unfortunate to stumble across it. (Complete Content Review for Parents also available)

A movie of such snowballing stupidity that it's a wonder the actors could keep straight faces while shooting it (outtakes, please!).
| Sep 5, 2014
Takes a machine-gun approach to filmmaking, spraying the audience with as many genres, storylines, themes, and cliches as possible, hoping one will stick.
| Original Score: 2/4 | Sep 5, 2014
There's not much of a payoff, as this tepid film telegraphs its mild punches from several miles away.
| Original Score: 2/5 | Sep 4, 2014
When you consider the source material, the film's flaws become too great to ignore.
| Original Score: 2/4 | Sep 4, 2014
Moves to the formulaic beats of the second-rate 온라인카지노추천 movie, albeit one cloaked in an ultra-glossy sheen.
| Sep 4, 2014
A messy if sporadically entertaining horror thriller based on a well-received novel by Jane Mendelsohn.

It's an idea that could make for decent genre viewing, if only its cast had some range, and its indie reach didn't exceed its mainstream-polished grasp.

The film is ridiculous without being enjoyably campy.
| Original Score: D | Sep 4, 2014
If this nonsense is the stuff of nightmares for most modern teenage girls, who seem genetically predisposed to roll their eyes at anything a parent or teacher does, I'd be very surprised.
