Mike Tyson is a good fighter but a terrible actor, love Donnie Yen tho

Los personajes siguen teniendo esa audacia y carisma. Pero la historia es demasiado floja, se quedaron sin ideas y la escribieron al hay se va. En entregas anteriores las peleas se ven tan reales y tan bien practicadas, pero en esta se ven demasiado actuadas.

"Ip Man 3" misses some of the magic from the first two entries. The fights are still good, Ip man vs. Master Z and Ip Man vs Mike Tyson are both memorable highlights. But the script feels like they took several different ideas for an Ip man sequel and combined it into one entry. On a certain level, this feels like the natural progression of the Ip Man story. The first movie, Ip man was proving the superiority of Chinese Wing Chung kung fu to that of Japanese martial arts. In Ip Man 2, he is proving Wing Chung's superiority over western boxing. So, in the 3rd one, it makes sense for Ip Man to go up against another Wing Chung master. Master Z makes for a good rival to Ip man, the classic trope of having the hero take on some sort of dark reflection of himself. When the story focuses on this plot, the movie works. But in addition to that story, we have a few other ones to balance. We have drama with Ip man and his family life, a conflict with Mike Tyson's character Frank, Ip man's financial troubles, Master Z helping the revolution and Ip man quitting smoking. The movie does not balance all of its story beats well. The action is still good, but it lacks the impact that the previous two had. The shots feel a bit more static, and the action a little staler. Ip Man is still a good character and Donnie Yen puts in his usual great performance. The action is still better than 80% of the action scenes in Hollywood today, but by Ip man standards it falls short. The movie still gets a recommendation from me, it just falls short of the glory of the previous two.

not as good as the first two i would say, but not a bad movie still, great fights

Whilst not quite as on point in the drama stakes as the first two movies, it compensates with some some truly astonishing martial arts choreography. Another brilliant entry in one of my favourite action drama series of recent years. Yen is again nothing short of superb and provides the soul and beating heart required as well as the astonishing martial arts skills. Brilliant. I've seen 100's of martial arts based movies but this is genuinely jaw dropping in terms of the remarkable fight choreography.

The only ip man I saw but it's good

In my opinion this is the best in the series.

Its narrative is not as agile as its choreography, but Ip Man 3 provides some sincere development for its titular character.

The movie features some of the most breathtaking martial arts action sequences I have ever seen on screen, making it a must-watch for fans of the genre. One of the standout elements of the film is Donnie Yen's performance as Ip Man. He brings a quiet intensity to the role, displaying both grace and power in his fighting style. The chemistry between Yen and his co-star, Lynn Hung, who plays Ip Man's wife, is also a highlight of the movie. The film's antagonist, played by Mike Tyson, adds an interesting dynamic to the story, and the fight scenes between him and Donnie Yen are truly epic. The final battle between the two is a real treat for fans of martial arts cinema. While the movie does have some flaws, such as a slightly convoluted plot and some uneven pacing, these issues are overshadowed by the incredible action scenes and impressive performances by the cast. Overall, "Ip Man 3" is a highly entertaining martial arts film that delivers on all fronts. Donnie Yen's performance as Ip Man is outstanding, the fight scenes are thrilling, and the story keeps you engaged throughout. I highly recommend this film to anyone who loves martial arts cinema or action movies in general.

Good movie, Donie Yuen Is very good cast there

This series continues to pack a formidable punch The third IP Man follows the franchise' traditional style of pitting Hong Kong's greatest martial arts man against corrupt government officials. Not to mention, someone in the Chinese casting department expatriated Mike Tyson overseas to kick his ass.

Another Ip Man film that shows little fatigue

This movie has 3 plot lines and its another movie industry cash grab to a classic movie that should never had more than 1 sequel. That being said its an entertaining movie with Ip Man the Superhero to save the day once again. The action is still great but the story telling isn't the standard to the original Ip-Man.

Well, in Ip Man 1, we see a movie which was more about political tensions. In Ip Man 2, the same political tension is at the background, whereas we see a real body for the enemy in the form of a boxer. In other words, the fight between Ip Man and the boxer were representing the fight between these two different traditions: east and west. In this third movie, these political aspects are still at the background but their effects are heavily reduced. This is not a problem of course if it is the choice of the movie, however, there were too many things processed in the movie and transitions were not quite clear. As an audience, I was unpleasant when I compared it with the previous movies. In terms of fighting sequences, it gives you what you expect, there was no problem about it. However, the plot was not structured well.

Bom filme, não é o melhor da franquia, mas não deixa de ser bom... grande coreógrafia de luta, boa performance dos atores e é claro uma ótima trilha sonora, enredo simples nota 7.5

I enjoyed this and the story it told along with the message of what matters most in life. Of course, I also enjoyed the great martial arts battles which were many to round out the movie. Look forward to the next installment
