It Reviews
It was overall an incredible movie, however for me personally it failed to deliver on 90% of the scares. Some of the decisions of the characters fall under horror movie stereotypes such as splitting up and wandering off alone for no reason. despite this, the acting was amazing, story solid, and especially the characters delivered on so many levels. Would definitely recommend a watch.
one of my favorite movies of all time, it's impossible you don't get involved in this history
Having never read the book or watched the 온라인카지노추천 series I watched this with no imprinted expectations and with clear vision. If you want only to see a typical 'psycho horror' you will be let down because it's much deeper than that. Although the opening scene certainly is graphic bloody horror. Pennywise could scare people who are not even afraid of clowns. He also has a personality which makes him even more scary and not just a bloodthirsty fiend. He takes fun in pushing you into conversations and destroying your thoughts before trying to bite your face off. That is most chilling. The scenes of him appearing out of nowhere, even in broad daylight, give the 'jump' factor that a good horror does require. It's also a story within a story of the school friend teenagers who with their own personal dilemmas (some even abusive) build solidarity to not only deal with Pennywise but also their own personal situations. To know there is someone close by who will try hard to rescue you no matter what is reminiscent of 'Stand by Me'. There seems to be a profound lesson of overcoming fear. The acting is fantastic and all the characters who being so diverse actually fit together like peas in a pod. I can watch it again and again
A perfect character developement with a great storytelling
Every character had an interesting story(except for Stanley). The only bad points of the movie were the love triangle and the over-exaggerated bullies.
This movie was terrible as soon as I heard Bill talk as Pennywise I thought he sounded like a handicapped Scooby-Doo and I couldn't take him seriously at all. So this was a very long and boring movie. And Pennywise looked dumb and just not scary at all. Awful movie
An amazing film. The child acting and effects were amazing. I love this movie and it is one of my favorites to watch near Halloween. I would recommend researching it if you are a parent who has strong carrig for your children though. Still, WATCH IT!
A wonderful, spine-chilling horror flick that is based on Stephen King's novel.
Movie was absolutely amazing, Only unrealistic part is that nobody laughs at Richie’s jokes. Created a whole fandom, Jack Dylan grazer played Eddie perfectly as well.
strong performances, both terrifying and captures the nostalgia of childhood perfectly.
It was the worst movie ever from 2017. It has gave me night mares for long time. I never liked it at all. I hope you hate it as well.
Stephen King is amazing and this is proof for writing this story. The movie is just pure creepy and suspense and never has a dull moment that doesn’t freak you out. It was also slightly hard to watch as you see kids being killed, not adults, but little kids around like 7 years old. This movie is messed up in a very good way.
Good movie, very interesting and scary 🤡🎈
This movie is really nostalgic to me because this was my first horror movie a few years ago. This is overall just a great movie with an interesting concept and some fun scares.
Fyne shyt went for tall and unworthy bum who dident deserve her instead of the fat boy who saved her life and did everything for her the skinny bum kid went after his little brother this is treatable hard watch because if this do NOT recommend. Other than that it was pretty funny.
A wonderful heartfelt adventure recapturing the true horrors of growing up. The cast of children bring more energy and imagination to their roles than most adult actors do. You won't be able to look away.
I’ve decided to write a comprehensive review of the horror movie “It,” based on Stephen King’s iconic work. The film, especially the 1990 version, is truly terrifying when you’re a kid. Growing up, this film left a lasting impression on me, and I recently revisited it because it has always lingered in my memory. The original film centers around a group of misfit kids—dubbed "the losers"—who band together to save the town of Derry from a sinister clown named Pennywise. Tim Curry’s portrayal of Pennywise is a blend of goofy and frightening, instilling a deep-seated fear of sewers and nightmares that would haunt me at bedtime. The character of Georgie plays a crucial, albeit brief, role that allows viewers to feel the immense grief and anguish Bill experiences following the brutal murder of his younger brother. Each of the kids brings their own unique dynamic to the story, and the 1990 version gives viewers the chance to grow with these characters. The modern adaptation of the first part of the film similarly explores their backgrounds, featuring a talented ensemble of young actors who bring a fresh perspective to the story for a new generation. Both films successfully captivated audiences, laying a strong foundation for the terrifying legend of Pennywise. However, the sequel—whether it be the second VHS in the 90s or the modern-day “Chapter Two”—takes a different approach. The second part of the story follows the adult versions of the kids as they reunite to confront the horrors of their past, despite their reluctance. The original 1990 film introduced viewers to the character of Annette O'Toole, adding depth to the narrative, even as some characters faced grim fates. However, the 90s sequel fell short in comparison to the first installment, lacking the same intensity and being somewhat corny, failing to deliver genuine scares. In contrast, today’s “It Chapter Two” felt like the weakest link. Despite featuring a star-studded cast, the film disappointingly failed to deliver the horror and suspense I was hoping for. Instead of offering thrilling twists and turns, it seemed to echo the shortcomings of the 1990 version's sequel, leaving much to be desired. The backstory of Pennywise is fascinating, and the documentary series delves into the creation of Tim Curry's chilling character, shedding light on the darker elements from Stephen King's book that were left out of the film. Many unsettling aspects of the narrative were omitted due to their disturbing nature, which only emphasizes the horror that Pennywise embodies. Ultimately, Pennywise deserves his place in the horror Hall of Fame as a truly terrifying figure. However, I can’t help but wish that future adaptations could do justice to the story and create a sequel that truly encapsulates the horror and depth of King’s original work.
A great adaptation of the book that updates (and thankfully removes some of) its content while still remaining faithful to the story. Bill Skarsgard is absolutely terrifying as Pennywise and the clear standout among the large cast, but the kid actors are equally amazing. I don't know how a movie like this became one of the best coming-of-age films of all time, but it happened. This movie made me scared of clowns again. Truly amazing.
This movie is just so good! The first time I ever watched it I was 8 in 2017 and then I became soo obsessed with it 😂!
“It” was definitely worth a watch. Some parts were a little weird(not the pennywise scenes though), all the pennywise scenes were absolutely perfect and captured the feeling of being in that moment. Everything felt so real, and all and all, this movie was amazing!
