Keanu Reeves' peformance is the highlight of the picture. The other elements don't hold up as much. The action and choreography are well done, but the story, and some of the characters are a bit weak. My guess since this was an action film, the filmmakers decided to go for something that won't affect people's attention spans.

This is one of the best action movies I've ever seen. It was incredibly thrilling from start to finish, and I really enjoyed it. I definitely recommend it for action fans!

The cast is wonderful but it is disappointing to see that the film industry still uses so many animals. Just because an animal was not hurt in a scene does not mean that it could not have been hurt emotionally. Animals are not things and it is thanks to this same industry that pit bulls suffer so much prejudice. Just do better.

Love Keanu Reeves movies! Love the John Wick character!

Keanu Reeves makes this film one that you can re-watch over again. It started the franchise and is one of the best action films ever.

One of the best action films of all time.

An original action-revenge flick with more on its mind than most, John Wick not only boasts slick fight choreography and beautiful cinematography, but more impressively, the writing stays simple and natural at building this character and his world with just enough detail to stand out.

It loses half a star for the dog's death, but that death does get sweet justice and made a perfect action franchise. And he also saves a dogs life in the end of the movie. I love john wick

Though not usually a fan of action films, this film and its several sequels are the exception. Beautiful to look at, easy to enjoy and as an added bonus the incomparable Ian McShane steals every scene he is in.

Great movie with actual physical stunts and action sequences. Taking movies back to the roots in a cinema world that is plagued by CGI and Superhero fatigue. It paved the way for equally entertaining sequels that follow.

John Wick gave fans what they were dying to see i.e., some old-school visceral action. The fight choreography is one of the best of the 21st century. Keanu Reeves is perfectly cast as the lead character. An efficient entertainer which started an entertaining franchise.

I'm not usually a fan of shoot 'em up for the whole movie type persons, but I really loved this one....ONLY because of the reasons for John's hatred. I am an animal lover and really hate people that kill pets for no reason. So, I was cheering John the whole movie for getting those that did him wrong.

John Wick is a great action movie that takes a questionable plot and makes it a fantastic series starter. You would think a thug killing a dog and making a guy go on a killing spree sounds dumb. I admit it does but the way it is done and explained is phenomenal. I have my opinions about 2 and 3 but this movie set standers for the industry that I have only seen nobody meet. 90%

Wow.! This film kept me entertained the whole way through. I can’t wait to see the next one! Action scenes were really intense and entertaining. A MUST watch film.
