Filme bacana, o roteiro é bacana, gostei da atuação da jennifer lawrence, e a história é bacaninha, e gostei do Bradley cooper ele ajudou bem no filme.

As good as it is, and as solid as all the performances are, it just leaves you wanting a bit more depth. Despite the gaping holes in the story and the script, and the rather trite ending, I'd recommend watching. Perfect Sunday afternoon fodder.

Loved this film. It’s my sort of film. Love the script. Enjoyed the way she becomes successful and also how intelligence she is in not getting screwed over. Great performances and again both Jennifer Laurence and Bradley Cooper are excellent. Put these top class actors in any film and you know it’s going to be good. Not to mention, Robert Deniro as well. A bit like Silver Linings in terms of cast. These three is the same film makes this unmissable for me. Sterling performances as always. I read a lot of self help books so I find watching people reach a level of success intriguing and interesting so this was just up my street. Another one of my favourites.

Excellent acting by the main character!

Despite the poor attempts at surrealism and characters that constantly veer towards cartoonish rather than anything realistic the movie's weirdly watchable . . . it's a failure, but an interesting one.

I enjoyed this, but it was missing something to bring me back again in the future.

If you are trying to make something of yourself, and shooting for your dreams, then you will enjoy Joy and surely empathize with her struggles!

I thought this was a great movie. Jennifer Lawrence plays an excellent role as usual. Some of it was a little far-fetched, but still all in all a great story, developing characters and acting, and shows the strength of a woman who doesn't stop fighting for what she wants. It doesn't hurt that Bradley Cooper is in it as well. If you compare this movie to the movies that are out today (2023) I would give this 10 stars because the movies that are out today don't have any plot or driven characters. They are just blasé.

Jenifer Lawrence gives an amazing performance as thr titular character and Robert DeNiro is great too. The fotography it's disturbing,and the story it's difficult to follow.

Why this film so underrated. Idk it works on me. I love the cinematography, score, and Jennifer Lawrence performance.

It took a very long time for the story to develop, and once it did it really wasn't that much of a "joy" to watch.

This movie had such potential with the giant cast and based on a true story but I kept asking my husband if I could fast forward. It dragged on and on and on.... Bummer because it looked like it could have been very good.
