Jumanji: The Next Level Reviews
A really funny watch
It's alright. It's probably the weakest one hoenstly Very mediocre all around. The soundtrack is pretty forgettable overall. The setup of introducing DeVito & Glover with the original 4 is clunky. It doesn't feel fully fleshed out and honestly it can get confusing who is who in this honestly because were so used to who was the avatar for each in the other. So while it was a clever idea to do a Freaky Friday type switch, because there is so many characters and each ahs a Avatar it just becomes very hard to tell whose who. It may not have been so bad if they didn't divide them up into subgroups on top of that making it jumpy too at points. The humor is alright honestly. Some jokes get a laugh but a lot are just old people jokes that are surface level stuff. Another problem this has in a huge chunk of this there is tons of plot expose explaining things we already were told last time. So on top of being a bit repetitve with the same basic idea, your explaining the same too for no reason. The new villian is forgettable lots of the locales just aren't that memorable as before. CGI is alright in this. The reason for returning is kind of forgotten about it feels like with so many subplots but it's pretty basic to follow. The hanging bridges action scene was cool, creative, unique and the best part. Also, one of the few scenes where the expose was low. I liked the ending too. Kind of had a 80's family movie feel to it. Overall though skip this. It doesn't really do anything better than the previous one and is probably the weakest of the trilogy.
Non ho mai visto un film così tanto rovinato dal finale: cambiando i ruoli tutto cade nella più totale banalità a livelli sconcertanti
Absolutely hilarious movie, and it was easy to watch! Definitely should view! All the main characters play their parts really well (especially the old guys!).
A fun and humorous romp.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cute movie. Very funny. Especially when they all swapped bodies
Focused too much on Danny Devito and Danny Glovers characters. All of the Jumanji cast spends the whole time pretending to be new characters and it eliminates the charm from the first movie. Not good.
I want this to go away
While the humor is strong, the emotional arcs feel weaker compared to the first film.
É inferior aos 2 outros, mais ainda é muito bom
Same Review as the 2nd movie
The humor and story are on par with the first movie. Visuals look great and the CGI has seen some improvement. The addition of new characters also keeps it fresh. Overall very much worth a watch if you liked the first one.
They keep inventing new characters and the actors keep doing a good job, so I keep enjoying it.
By far some of my new favorite “feel good” movies to watch. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle and Jumanji: The Next Level are absolute PERFECT additions to the 1995 original Jumanji film that my siblings and I so loved and repeatedly watched! I can honestly say I watch these movies at least once or twice a week because I love them so much.
Jumanji: The Next Level is pretty much Welcome to the Jungle all over again. It's a fun movie, it's cleverly written, and that's about it.
This series is fantastic, a great mix of adventure and comedy.
Garbage Compared To The First One
This film, which is the sequel to the 2017 feature Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, is about Spencer returning to Jumanji, and the rest of his friends going to rescue him, but when they return, they realize that the game is broken, which leads to new adventures, abilities, and characters, and they must once again save Jumanji or risk being trapped there forever. Overall, due to the comedic moments, action packed fights, and unexpected but powerful message on friendship and being yourself, this movie was an enjoyable experience and even though it is very similar to it it's predecessor, it has enough distinctions to stand on its own, I also think that shifting from a board game to a video game for next generation audiences is a genius move and even though a reboot could never beat the original I really liked this and hope that they continue this franchise, especially after seeing that end credits scene.
