Did a good job with this sequel, hilarious in parts and nice new characters and development. So happy they made a sequel, Hit Girl rules!

Kick-Ass 2, while thankfully sanitizing the extreme storyline from the comics it’s adapting, seems to be a rollercoaster of hits and misses based on its current direction. The dynamic of the cast, the humor, and the action remain, but the story is quite convoluted and doesn’t elevate the franchise to the same level as the first. In reality, it risks portraying this version as an inappropriate teen comedy that sexualizes underaged actresses at the time and simplistically follows up on a successful first film. Grading: C+

It's ok but nowhere near as good as the first one.

It's not as bad as people think. Maybe not as good as the first film but only a little bit lacking, so my score is still the same as the first one. Though for Kick-Ass/Dave, I wish if he had a better ending and had better interactions with certain characters. Jim Carrey was pretty cool in this movie even though his role was short.

Kick-Ass 2 Was Still Fun and enjoyable but not as good as the first. Some Really Fake Looking Moments with Blood, Vomit and Green Screen But nonetheless, you can't take these Movies seriously and I think if Matthew Vaughn directed this then it would be better but Aaron Taylor Johnson and Chloë Grace Moretz do a great job but a standout is Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Chris D'Mico aka; The MotherF*who was absolutely Hilarious! Can't Wait for thr Kick-Ass Reboot!

A great sequel to the first kick ass movie.

While not as well written as the first, the action alone stands up well in this sequel. Plenty of entertaining gun play and fight scenes make this a great choice for action fans.

Really campy, but I'd recommend this if you liked the first one. It's a bit dated, social media tie in was very hip and funny at the time, now it's a slog, but there's ample action and over the top scenes to keep you entertained.

I thought it was a great movie but plot was a bit eh.

This movie is very pedophilic, Kick Ass is 18 and Hit Girl is 15-16 in this movie. During the end scene when they kissed I shut the movie off because it was too disgusting. Horrible movie and incredibly misogynistic and sexist, and pedophilic too.

This movie was literally so shudderingly cringe worthy, I could barely finish it even while high. And I watched it directly after I watched the first one. I don't think I have a single good thing to say about it other than the action scenes were cool. It was so utterly corny and predictable, every character that was in the previous movie had been stripped of personality or originally of any kind. This movie has been so shitty it's ruining my high for christs sake. The villain was god awful, and even when they intentionally make him the mother of all discord mods, it's done so stiffly and unnaturally that it makes itself look so ridiculous. It's trying to be so ironic and self aware that it's gone full circle and done neither of those things. It is SUCH a pale imitation of the first movie and I wish I could go back in time and stop myself from being excited. This is, in my opinion, the ultimate example of sequels being god awful every single time. And not to mention, the edgy racist jokes didn't come off as ironic either. It was just hard to watch. So, so disappointing. Used every dead horse sequel trope in the book and beat the fear of god into every single one. The humor is mediocre, the plot is tacky, the characters are surface level. Do yourself a favor and just rewatch the first Kick Ass.
