I give this movie 5 stars and 10 big Bazinga, I really like how they lay out the antagonist everything is great even the movie i just don't like that they quote on quote killed harry considering how strong of a character he is portrayed in the movie I wont spoil the other movie because I personally know a lot of people who haven't heard of the Kingsman movies.

Somehow I always return to watch this movie. I absolutely love all the classic style, the way the characters are built and the spectacular cast. It is quite surrealistic but tributes to the spy genre, especially the old Bond gadgets. I miss those. I must say though, that some scenes are unnecessarily violent, but the overall plot compensates. Great movie to watch with friends and family. Sit back and enjoy.

All Time Classic that is freakin awesome. It'a love letter to James Bond and to the whole spy movie genre while also never being direct references to a specific franchise. That's the trick here that makes this work so amazingly well. Despite a few name drop references here and there, it's really limited. You don't have to have seen any spy movies before this to enjoy this or get the full bang. But if you are you'll love it just as much. Now imagine James Gunn writing that love letter and you have a good idea what this is. The direction is so good in this with a sense of fun, style, excellent camerawork, and super creative fun special effects with a lot of practical and funny bad CGI that's 100% self aware. The plot is convuluted somewhat but Eggy really is critical to grounding it as we become immersed in this crazy over the top super cool world. Everything is first rate. The soundtrack is just awesome also. The fight scenes are so creative and over the top fun. It never feels like it's ripping off any franchise but doing it's own thing while playing in the spy genre cliches 100% self aware. On top of that add the coming of age twist and it gives this a suprising amount of heart too. The editing is so snappy in this and this just never stops with twists and turns and never stops having fun. Everyone should give this a try once!

Awful film. Despite all its attempts to subvert the spy genre it delivers an extremely formulaic plot. Relies on hyper-violence and shock value but ultimately ends up boring as hell and not funny. Lowlights include: a depressingly long mass murder scene inside a church, a very strange anal sex reference right at the end, and possibly Samuel Jackson’s worst performance, as a ludicrous lisping villain.

Great actors, light hearted fun, a hint of violence. Perpetuates the myth of the perfect Englishman very nicely. Very much enjoyed it.

Just pure amusement. How have I missed this movie all these years.

How to Waste Two Hours of Your Life!! I went into this movie with moderate expectations, considering its high rating. However, I wasn't blown away, nor was I overhyped. In the end, the experience felt like a total mess. The film tried to juggle too many tones - a serious spy thriller on one hand and a quirky comedy on the other. While movies can certainly blend both successfully, this one missed the mark. The execution was so off that it completely took me out of the experience. As for the spy-thriller aspects, it was hard to take seriously. The plot was absurdly over-the-top and riddled with unrealistic moments, to the point where it bordered on outright silliness. And when it came to the comedy, I found it flat and unfunny. The gags, like the "nuclear head explosions" and the McDonald's served on a silver platter, felt more ridiculous than humorous. While I understand that English humor can differ from American tastes, I generally enjoy British comedies - Monty Python, Snatch, Mr. Bean, even some of the Bond films. Yet here, the humor felt forced and uninspired. Worse, the genuinely funny moments had already been spoiled in the trailers, leaving little to laugh at in the movie itself. The action, while occasionally entertaining, leaned far too heavily into the absurd. Some of the bullet-time sequences were decent, but the church massacre scene was unnecessarily drawn out and exaggerated. It's hard to stay immersed when fight scenes last for minutes on end, yet the characters emerge unscathed, barely out of breath. Compare that to real athletes, like professional boxers or MMA fighters, who are visibly drained after just one round. The over-the-top action sequences didn't elevate the movie; they only made it harder to suspend disbelief. Now, let's talk about the protagonist and the "recruitment/training" arc. This part of the story was where the movie completely lost me. The main character - a reckless, rebellious kid with a background in gymnastics - somehow transforms into a world-class spy with minimal training. The recruitment process itself was more of a series of cruel "no-win" scenarios than an actual learning experience. I understand the goal was to test the recruits and find the best of the best, but it never felt believable. Gymnastics and daddy issues don't make someone an unstoppable secret agent overnight. By the end, when he confronts his mom's bully, I found myself asking, "What has he actually done to earn these skills?" The whole arc felt lazy and underdeveloped.

Good movie, story doesnt really make enough sense for higher rating but fun to watch

An amazing, funny, action packed movie. One of my all time favorites.

Great movie inn't lad

Nice and hilarious and really means it when it says it is rated R and that appearance of Samuel L Jackson makes it have a good cast I m waiting for the next movie

I guess we can't get enough of movies that try to imitate the James Bond style, yet this one while it has a decent plot, the villains were just too predictable and even now I still can't get my head around a bad guy that gets sick when he sees blood. It's his goddamn job to shed it intentionally or not!!!

Wonderful, fun, and exciting movie. Really is a must see film.

Shockingly rubbish film that must have cost a fortune to make.

It's not one thing or another. The action is daft, entertaining but still dumb. It's not particularly comedic, meaning the daft and dumb have no release valve. What's left is a two hour film that, very good performances aside, is stupid.

I like everything about the movie except through out the hole movie there finger is not only on the trigger pretty much the hole time but there fingers are way to deep on the trigger and definitely wasn't any weapons training involved in the movie.

As previously mentioned, amazing action sequences. There quite a lot of 'secret society','super spies' and 'rags to riches' movies out there, but this is the only one I found to be believable. It is sleek but action-packed, doesn't divert to a bunch of storylines which more often than not is confusing and tiring, but rather sticks to an entertaining and thought-out one. I think it is definitely worth watching.

The beginning is a little weak, but overall it is a good movie.
