Knox Goes Away Reviews
A beautiful, engaging and delicate movie. Should have been in the Oscar top 5
Great film. The plot may not be particularly elaborate, but: great acting, great characters, great lines... Michael Keaton and Al Pacino, such a chemistry. As a director, Keaton reveals the style and the composure of the classics. Made me think of Eastwood, in many ways.
If you like Michael Keaton he's great in this. There s a few plot holes along the way but overall very enjoyable.
I really liked it—great script and pacing. You'll enjoy it more if you don’t overanalyze how accurately it portrays the reality of dementia. I’m no expert, but I was struggling not to question whether someone with this specific disease would actually be able to function the way he did.
I really liked it. Watching the parts unfold. Sensing the fight against time. trying to maintain the objectives.
Slow, complex, layered, not what I expected it to be - but a good movie regardless.
The story of a contract killer with a degenerative disease who seeks peace and redemption, while not extraordinary, has reason to be sustainable in its 115 minutes of running time. Michael Keaton's first effort as actor, director and producer is acceptable enough.
Great script, acting and surprisingly enough features a unique but totally immersing and effective direction, which is not something you would expect from a suspense thriller movie, but its totally welcoming.
Even though the script is kinda weak. Michael Keaton’s performance and direction actually makes this thriller somewhat worth watching
Excellent and heartfelt. A few procedural errors did not detract from the overall effect. Definitely put this one on your list.
Great movie! I love Keaton. Highly recommend!
Not sure I agree with the critics who didn't like this one. Michael Keaton is good in this. The story is good and it keeps you watching until the end when you see what his plan was, even though it was pretty apparent it still was a great ending. Al Pacino is too old and needs to retire.
I may be a little biased as I've been a Michael Keating fan since his days doing the sitcom "Working Stiffs" with the also then up and coming Jim Belushi (Younger brother of the late John Belushi). But I like his more serous "action/drama" movies of the last 20 years or so better than his comedies, which are also very good. This film is excellent for a few reasons. Its perfectly paced for the viewer to get the backstory without getting bogged down. The plot and dialogue also sync very well. Just enough action to help the story transition, but not so much you lose sight of the story. There are a few plot twists along the way to keep you guessing. The acting is exemplary and the cast is superb. I recommend it as a "Must see".
Excellent film. Intriguing to watch the deteriorating thought process of Knox. Good twist at the end!
Excellent movie. Keaton is great.
The movie does its thing, and does it well. And Michael Keaton is an amazing actor.
First decent movie by Saban films! Almost hilarious!😂😂😂
A stone cold assassin searches for his heart in his last moments. An emotional roller coaster with a cherry on top at the end. Micheal Keaton as John Knox puts on a stellar performance. 3.5/5 Stars
This movie held my attention from beginning to end. The actors did an excellent job portraying their characters. It is a movie definitely worth watching.
