Typical of an Indian movie, Showing Pakistan as a terrorist state and Muslims in general as bad and that brainwashed Muslims into believing that Hindus are evil and stuff. Typical stuff you find in Indian movies. It's such a beautiful movie. Truly so different and unique. Beautifully simple and calm but with a lot to critically think about and lessons you can learn. I don't know why it didn't perform as it should've in the box office.

This movie is just all around great. Seeing a story inspired by the already phenomenal movie ‘Forrest Gump' in a different cultural setting is just amazing. The movie was done so well and the visuals effects of making Amir Khan and SRK look 30-40 years younger were some of the best I've seen in a movie. This movie was so good I don't even want to call it a remake because it feels like a whole different story. Amir Khan plays Laal Singh Chaddha so well and is just overall a wholesome character and got to love him the same way as Forrest Gump. I 100% recommend this movie and it is a definite watch for someone that's wants to see something old but new at the same time.

I still don't understand why people criticize this film this is not as greater as Forrest Gump but this movie mostly entertain and gives life lessons.
