Might even say that this is my favourite movie. It's bizarre and fantastical at times, even campy, and I love all those aspects about it, but in its core it's a lovely flick about an unlikely romance. An enjoyable mixture of dream like fantasy, silly comedy and raw, sincere feeling interpretation of the human condition, about love. In any case there's one thing we can all agree on - the soundtrack SLAPS!

This is the first movie I ever saw in theatres twice and I say boo to all those haters who aren't ready to entertain something beyond the typical tropes. It's fun, despite Ewan MacGregor's terrifying haircut.

The team that brought you both Trainspotting films, Trance, Shallow Grave, and The Beach brings you just the most bizarre and worst advertised crime comedy ever (think Coen brothers). It's not much of a romance film, despite the cheesy title and marketing which are unforgivable. (It's all one big meta joke as the main character also writes bizarre crime comedies that are poorly advertised as sloppy romance novels). Ewan McGregor kills it as always, and he hits it off well with his partner-in-crime Cameron Diaz, where they dupe her father into thinking he's kidnapped her, but he's so bad at his job, that she has to do it for them. Problem is, these angels (I know, it's weird) are hired to come after them and the money and things end up violent.

Literally one of my favorite movies of all times and This movie is when I officially completely fell head over heels for Ewan! So sexy! Please kidnap me!! So cute! I love movies that all come together at the end and everything is inter-tangled.

Well I'm not sure why so many folks disliked this movie. I thought it was charming and playful romantic comedy. Both main actors play strong rolls. I love Danny Boyle's work. Fun Fun Fun. Definitely worth a watch if your an alt film fan!

Uplifting and smart, with amazing performances and chemistry between Ewan McGregor and Cameron Diaz, typically outstanding collaboration by Danny Boyle and John Hodge, the movie is extremely entertaining.

From director Danny Boyle comes the rather bizarre romantic comedy A Life Less Ordinary. The story follows the spoiled daughter of a rich businessman who is kidnapped by a recently fired janitor, and the two then team-up in order to extort a ransom from her father and begin to fall in love; but unknown to them events are being manipulated by two angels. Cameron Diaz gives a good performance and has a lot of charisma, but Ewan McGregor is terrible and two have no chemistry. Additionally, the comedy is pretty weak, featuring stale jokes and cheap slapstick. A mess of a film that's all over the place, A Life Less Ordinary just doesn't work.

It's pure clever entertainement, I absolutely loved the chemistry between Ewan McGregor and Cameron Diaz, also the directing by Danny Boyle is tipically amazing.

The chemistry between the haphazard McGregor & the perky Diaz is a perfect combination for this off the wall comedy. Hilarious.
