Lightyear Reviews
Modern Disney meets incredible, truly amazing animation. Could it be better? Absolutely. Is it as bad as everyone says it is? Nada. It deserves a watch simply for the connection to Pixars beloved Toy Story franchise. It would be a stretch to call it a masterpiece, however.
They tried to make buzz look good looking and made him look to human for the toy we all know and love!
This is just an enormous disappointment, Buzz Lightyear is the hero and villain of the story.
I actually fell asleep on this multiple times lol. The story was okay, but it lacked the Pixar charm.
While not necessarily a film that goes to infinity and beyond, Lightyear did have some stunning animation, characters, and a somewhat emotional ride of a tale. Still this was not enough for a film coming out of the Pixar we all used to know and love.
Lightyear is not PIXAR’s most creative film. Its story is very stale and falls flat. And yet through all the nonsense it still has enough humor, action, and excellent animation that provides a simple, entertaining way to pass the time.
Not what I was expecting but it was good, we loved Sox!
Fantastic family film.
Good movie and fun to watch! Lots of crashing and flash so if that bothers you skip this one.
Took my Grandson6 1/2. His kind of movie.
It was a great story with unexpected twists for the adult in me but had the incredible animation and just enough cuteness for the kid in me. I loved it!
The movie was good, not great.
No hay necesidad de poner las escenas de mujeres besándose dejen q los padre les enseñe a sus hijo ahora quieren metérselo por los ojos a los Niños últimamente ahora todas las movie tienen ese tipo de escena
The time lapse/ dual existence explanation was very hard to follow and really unnecessary for a childs film. The cat robot was super cute. The movie was overall entertaining and cute for kids and adults.
Pacing was weird, didn't feel like a Pixar film.
It was better than I expected, I will definitely recommend watching this movie!
they never got home the movie wasgood but lack comedy
The plot was mediocre at best, and really brought lower by the overt, in=your-face homosexuality. I was greatly disturbed that my 11-year old grandson had that thrown at him. The fantasy that a same-sex couple can produce a child is beyond absurd. This is the last Disney new movie my family will see.
Best film of the year, hands down. And yes, it is a film. Action-adventure with a heart of solid gold, plus plenty of laughs, and a story that equally compels and leaves me shattered. I've seen it four times in the theater. Must watch.
Took my grand kids to see "Lightyear" as a celebration of their June and July birthdays. We all loved it! Good story, great characters, good winning out over bad and an appeal for young and old alike.
