Little Nicky Reviews
Adams funniest movie
With a cheap story with endless plot holes, unfunny gags, weak writing and annoying acting Little Nicky is a perfect example of nothing more but a waste of your time.
Easily Sandlers' worst movie. All that saves it is the dog and glimpses of the World Trade Center.
Probably the worst Adam Sandler movie, but it’s him and he’s doing his thing. I’m a huge fan of his, and always will be, but this film in 2025 compared to all his work is god awful 😞
I usually like Sandler flicks, even the dumb ones like "Thats my boy". It has a pretty decent cast, premise, and they obviously spent a bunch of money on it. To be fair, it DID make me belly laugh a couple of times, but that doesn't make up for the absolute nonsensical stupidity of the writing. It was bad. And dumb. I can forgive a movie if it is consistently funny, but this was sporadically funny at best.
defensively worth a watch, i watched it after little demon, hazbin hotel and dan da dan to fill my need for that hole in my chest, wish i came across it much sooner. Also i guess it would have gotten a much better rating thees days (2024) then it became back then, guess it was not its time...
I love it this is amazing
To be determined when I’m done watching this film
Critics don't know how to laugh.
I seen this once when it first came out but i couldn't remember much about it, so decided to watch it again and i can safely say it's pretty awful. Extreme cringe and awkwardness throughout most of it and not much comedy.
We've been watching this click for YEARS! It doesn't take itself too seriously. Ignore the bad reviews. It's SO much better than they'd lead you to believe! Enjoy!
Just a goofy movie with a unique funny concept. Not supposed to be a golden globe winning cinematic. If you can't find the fun in this film - you're taking life too seriously. Great cast!
I didn't know Quentin Tarantino made a cameo in this movie.
Ignore the bad reviews. It's a great movie and it'll give you a lot more laughs than anything new.
I have to say, I completely agree with your 3/10 rating for the film "Little Nicky - Satan Junior". This movie had so much potential, but it fell flat in so many ways. First of all, I have to mention Adam Sandler. He is undoubtedly a talented actor and has given us some great films like "The Wedding Singer" and "The Waterboy". However, he has also made some real stinkers, and "Little Nicky" is definitely one of them. It's disappointing to see someone with such potential continuously churn out movies that are just plain bad. I mean, who thought it was a good idea to remake a classic like "Mr. Deeds" with Sandler in the lead role? It's insulting to the original and to the audience's intelligence. Now, let's talk about the film itself. The biggest problem with "Little Nicky" is that it's just not funny. The humor is crude, smarmy, and often relies on shock value rather than genuine laughs. Making a comedy about Satan and Hell is a tough job, but it could have been done so much better. Just look at "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey" for example. That film managed to tackle similar themes in a clever and funny way. "Little Nicky", on the other hand, feels like it was written by 7-year-olds who think Beavis and Butthead's humor is too sophisticated. The crude jokes, like the sexually obsessed dog and the scene with demons shoving pineapples into Hitler's rectum, are just tasteless and not funny at all. What's even more frustrating is that there are people out there who actually think this film is good. I mean, seriously? Comparing "Little Nicky" to films like "Gone with the Wind" or "Dr. Strangelove" is just absurd. It's a low, stupid film without any value. It's disheartening to see that there are people who will pay to see anything, regardless of its quality. It's like the predictions in the film "Idiocracy" are becoming true today. Interestingly, if you look at the statistics for the ratings, you'll see that as many people loved the film as hated it. However, if you break it down by demographics, you'll notice that the older you get, the more likely you are to hate the film. It's clear that the film didn't resonate with a more discerning audience.
It's a good thing most people don't look at rotten tomatoes anymore; Little Nicky was one of Sandlers last good movies. The jokes are wonderful, the lore is colorful, and it's the right amount of raunchy. 78/100.
Perfect room, no job, 2 pain siblings. Great music throughout. Great cameos. Why does rotten, rate the movie at 20%, when here 50% and another 70%? NRJ.
I did not like Little Nicky very much when I first saw it. It's probably the worst of the first Sandler hits. But then a girl got me into it. I now enjoy it but still don't "like it" per say. It has its moments. The premise is alright. The cast and performances are excellent. But it's very "hokey" and "corny" not always in a good way. This was back when Adam's base ticket sales were the PG-13 crowd which included pre-teens who could buy the tickets with their friends as long as there was "Parental Guidance". The box office people weren't gonna ask your age most times unless you were by yourself. The movie would be borderline 'family friendly' if only some of the more explicit jokes were edited like the monkey breasts, the dog on dog scene, and Hitler's punishment specifically. But they might have been holding back on funnier stuff to avoid the R rating. It passes the time and not in a bad way but let me put it like this, it's about as good as 'The Hot Chick' more or less. Grade: 72/100 C- PS: My bad, just read on Wikipedia this is a box office bomb. I guess it was only popular 'round my way and/or age group.
Funny movie and underrated
