Living Reviews
Bill Nighy is in his usual form, a very good actor in a difficult role. It is an excellent movie.
LOVELY MOVIE - NEED MORE OF THEM - SUPURB ACTING
Wonderful life affirming movie. Touching, period piece but fits every era.
A lovely film. Beautifully crafted. My kind of flick.
Bill Nighy gives a masterful performance in the movie "Living" - a performance worthy of his 'best actor' Academy Award nomination. A must see movie that offers fresh perspective of how an act of kindness pays it's way forward in surprising ways.
One of the most beautifully shot movies i have ever seen. Beautiful story
Outstanding! The story is very moving and Bill Nighy is wonderful.
One of the GOAT. ... brilliant acting and a compelling human story based on a Kurosawa masterpiece, MUST SEE.
Very moving emotional powerhouse of a film.Bill N was superb!!!
This film reminded me that what makes life worth living is often a smile, an ear and small act of kindness. The moral, tone, setting and performance by Bill Nighy embodied that beautifully.
It is a good film with a moral lesson . However, the audio is at times poor and it can be hard to hear the characters I actually fell asleep for much of it but will return to see the rest. I recommend it.
Movie started off slowly. But I enjoyed seeing different prospectives. And could to see playground came too fruition.
Excellent acting. Captures the essence of British behavior at that time. A film of substance.
British flicks tend to be dry and conservativethis was that but dealt with the issue of terminal illness and death. They did a good job of presenting a perspective with sensitivity.
After a slow start the movie picked up steam and finished amazingly strong.
very subtle, and perfectly cast. excellent acting.
Very slow but Nighy, as usual, is exceptional
He decided to number his days and have purpose no matter that his time was so limited A good reminder. I loved the story.
Nicely done, spare film. Bill Nighy was perfectly cast. Deep issues explored within an emotionally constrained world. No car chases, screaming matches, or wild parties. Marvelous.
Gently human and unvaryingly humane, both the film "Living" and Bill Nighy's performance are superb and flawless.
