An excellent movie with poignant storytelling and engaging performances. Finn Whittrock’s vulnerability was especially powerful. I’d recommend a viewing for anyone who enjoys (can handle?) a lot of uncertainty and instability in a story. If Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Happy Accidents, or Nobody Loves Me (Keiner liebt mich) resonates, then the plotting of Long Weekend is probably up your alley. And I recommend it if you like to cry (happy tears).

I had my wife watch this with me. She likes Hallmark and I like weird movies. This met somewhere in the middle. I ended up liking it but she didn't. Go figure. It's worth a watch though.

A charming rom-com that avoids the typical rom-com tropes, this sweet little film features great chemistry between Finn Wittrock and Zoe Chao. We're willing to follow this duo wherever they take us (and they take us to some very strange places). Go along for the ride. You won't be sorry.

Good movie. The actors and the direction was awesome. The story incredible.

Long Weekend wastes its two leads with some bizarre storytelling. Finn Wittrock and Zoe Chao make a great duo. They had solid chemistry together. Damon Wayans Jr. was also good in his supporting role. I wish these actors were in a different films though. The setup is fine enough, but then there’s some twist late in the first act. The film could’ve done something interesting with it, but it just doesn’t. The film just meanders on and only gets worse as it goes on. Whenever it was just Wittrock and Chao hanging out the film was tolerable. But whenever the film focused on plot it was just bad. Overall, I didn’t care for this. I am excited to see what Wittrock and Chao do next, and I hope they are in better films in the future.

Loved it. Refreshing take on an old theme. Performances were nice and not too hammy.

My fiance and I went to see this romantic comedy last night, it was the only film not sold out at such late notice, was not expecting much but enjoyed it very much! Way more romance than comedy but the plot twist was interesting but I enjoyed it! Chao, she stole the show for sure amazing performance.
