Love, Rosie Reviews
"Love, Rosie" is an easy comfort watch for romantic comedy fans. This movie is charming and sincere and the two leads in it are easy to root for. I think the movie presents a lot of situations where things aren't communicated well which can make it frustrating at times, but I still think it created plenty of entertainment value. I also think the movie has some formulaic moments, but I also think this movie does a lot that keeps it unique, particularly with one major plot point. Overall, this is a light and enjoyable romcom that I found myself enjoying a lot more than I thought I would, and think it delivers what it promises.
Remember loving it when I was 17 so I tried to watch it again now that I'm 23 to see if it was still good and yup, it's amazing, I loved it like the very first time
Charming, smart and very elegantly directed, this movie has a wonderful vibe to it. A classy, young romantic comedy.
I just hope they reduced the twist and turns of Rosie's and Alex's love story. It's a bit annoying that the storyline is very predictable.
It was an intense and stressful rollercoaster ride watching the movie, with so many events and issues happening all at once. Despite the chaos, I found joy and excitement in the relationship between Alex and Rosie. After everything they went through, they truly deserved a happy ending!
Ye are all wrong all 33% lads some movie xox
Right person wrong time crew let’s go!!!!! At its best when Rosie and Alex are actually together, which given the plot, is not enough. The side characters esp Sally are way too over the top and there are some big cliches, but overall cutesy and charming and 🫶🏻. “Any baggage?”
remember really loving it
Love, Rosie is the most moving, sentimental, heart-aching movies I have ever watched. It has been my favourite movie for the past 7 years, no questions asked. Lily Collins is the absolute perfect actress for this role, I could not imagine any other actress playing this role. Her character, "Rosie" is easily relatable, depending on personality created or the situation she faces throughout. This movie is a romance movie, it is beautifully cinematic, Sam Claflin, who plays Alex, as well, fits the role impeccably. I could honestly not imagine a better casting for this movie. It is a comfort movie, it makes you laugh, it makes you cry, it ticks all the boxes. I could not ask for anything to be changed at all. It is so utterly gorgeous in every sense. It is heartfelt and outstanding, I recommend this movie to everyone and anyone. It makes you feel things you haven't felt before. I cry every watch, I laugh, I feel like I have so much love to give, I feel angered and let down. This masterpiece plays on your heart strings and throws you through a turmoil of emotions. I love this movie. It could not have been better if it tried. Impossibly perfect. Love it, forever a 6 star movie!
I can semi relate to this to this story (I like to think). It moved me, I liked it. I think it has a bit of a ‘conservative’ leaning message, so I suspect ‘the film critics’ will have a slight meltdown.
It's not the best romcom but it's ok. It's kind of predictable. Watch if there's nothing else on.
Awful from beginning to end.
Words can't describe how much I love this movie, some will say it's mediocre and it probably is since I haven't watched a lot of romance but this movie will forever have a special place in my heart, it's fun it's a feel good film and it's honestly so funny and I love how even if they keep missing each with Rosie (Lily Collins) getting pregnant getting married, and Alex (sam claflin) moving to Boston, his girlfriend getting pregnant, getting cheated on, and getting married to a model but yet at the end they still find each other and I love how it makes a loop at the end I love sam claflin and lily collins together!
Adorable movie and fine performances, but if there were a prize for least accurate portrayal of Boston this would be a strong contender. Harvard undergraduates (who cannot major in medicine) frolicking at an outdoor pool party? No more likely in Cambridge Mass than in Cambridge UK.
The obnoxious screenplay hurls a messy miscommunication trope amid a relationship that lacks chemistry, despite its two charismatic leads, leaving much to be desired.
"Love, Rosie" is like the best romantic gossip made to film. Rosie and Alex is all drama, laughter and heartbreak, but it leaves you with that bittersweet feeling that only true love can have. A rollercoaster of emotions worth seeing if you like rom coms
cried my eyes out but wow what a movie
They know they are meant for each other, they really do. But they take the wrong turn for so many times, I started to feel sorry for them and couldn't stop crying for the last 30 minutes. Beautiful love story, but not cringy, great
In the end the dreams come true!
Apalling storyline with a cheap low-shot at being British - the Hugh Grant clone is just about as shallow as you can go. The themes are riddled with contradictions and they give no respect to audience intelligence. Rosie ends up with a materialist solution to her problems which underlies the general lack of moral fibre pervading the story.
