A Man Apart Reviews
Ok but not great. Was interesting first time through but is pretty dull once you know the twist. Definitely not a movie you can watch over and over.
Poor sound. Conversations very low sound, and gunfights way too loud. In this movie you keep adjusting the sound.
Besides Vin Diesel channeling his embodiment to tonally likens Sylvester Stallone during this vigilante crime drama, the action pedestrians minimize any worthwhile engagement insignificantly offered whilst eventually indecisive. (C+)
While Vin Diesel is a perfect fit for the lead role, and his performance in this film stands out compared to his recent works, the movie suffers from erratic pacing and a severely fragmented narrative, making it challenging to deliver many surprises to the audience.
I dont get all the hate. One of my all time favourite movie.
Whatever the critics say, the truth is the exact opposite. This is, in my opinion, Vin Diesels best role. It's a classic revenge story centered around a dea agent, and the drug trade. Two thumbs up!
A generic Vin Diesel revenge cop action movie.
Vin diesel is just the worst.
Maybe it's just a guilty pleasure for me, looking at these ratings... Sure it's a cliche cop flick, but I always dug it. I like the style, I like the cast, I like where the story goes. It's too bad Vin Diesel didn't become a bigger action star.
Story/Screenplay: (3/5) Average for a movie of this genre. A little silly that our hero can't keep his temper in check, blowing a sting operation and getting his own people killed. Duration/Tempo: (3.5/5) Felt a little shorter than a 1 hour and 49 minute movie, which indicates good pacing. Cast & Crew: (3.5/5) Vin Diesel is Vin Diesel, which works in a movie of this genre. Summary: (3.5/5) As far as action movies go, you can do much better than this one. However, it is still entertaining overall. It gets a weak thumbs up.
One Of My Top Vin Diesel Movies. Very Dark And Awesome Action Movie. Love This Movie. Vin Diesel & Larenz Tate Are Great
I was aware that being an action movie with Vin Diesel "A Man Apart" could be a little bust, but that big, hell no! Terrible and uncoherent from beginning to end.
