Management Reviews
Urgh... Dunno what they were doing in 2008 but... What a weird movie...main male actor comes across as a weirdo stalker.. that aged terribly..
An Endearing sleeper. Zahn and Aniston put in really good performances. Zahn had to make a character that follows/ stalks Aniston around the country romantic rather than creepy and be pulls it off. He's lovable and you root for him. Aniston is great in everything. It had really interesting conversations on love. Security or following your heart. The convent was a needless detour but it had a lovely ending, perfectly imperfect how they get together in the end. Definitely worth a watch.
Well this was enjoyable to watch. Casting was great.
Love Jennifer Aniston. She is the reason to watch this movie. And there are many other reasons to watch. Good script, good novel, acting skill etc
Aniston was still years away from the film maturity, Harrelson has a very little role, and frankly, Zahn is not near my chosen actor to watch never
I watched this on DVD recently and I quite liked it. It covers the ups and downs of a long distance romantic relationship in a fairly straight forward way, while keeping enough of the story in reserve to maintain the viewer's interest. The two leads performed well, and have enough onscreen chemistry to be convincing. The distance makes for a variety of scenes in diverse locations which was nice to see. Over all, it's a pleasant enough film with a happy ending which I am happy to recommend.
8/28/2023 I love everything Jennifer Aniston does, however, as great as she was in this movie, the story and other cast match ups, did not work. But enjoyed watching her act!
Stalker Simulator, basically. I don't really see how any of this would happen in reality.
Personally I loved this movie. Quirky, romantic, and sweet. Steve Zahn and Jennifer Aniston are perfectly cast.
Has some funny and cute moments. Comes off awkward at times and kinda just too weird. By the numbers rom com but watchable.
very cute movie. worth a watch.
Grade B. It was alright. More of a romance movie than a comedy. I don't really watch romance movies so I don't know how to criticize this.
I saw maybe half of it and that was all I could stand. I bought it for $4 used without seeing it first & after I saw that much, I just wanted to get rid of my copy. Trashy. Not even remotely funny. One of the worst movies of all time imo.
Jennifer Aniston and Steve Zahn star in the film Management. Zahn plays a hopeless romantic who works as the night manager for his parents in a small town of Arizona. He comes across Aniston who comes there to stay, and he feels the need to pursue her. He becomes obsessed with her and follows her around the country in a manner that could make this a horror film under a different light. As this a romantic comedy however, the two work out there different circumstances even when her boyfriend (Woody Harrelson) stands in the way. Management was not a terrible romantic comedy, and has its charm, but goes a bit too far on the unpractical side for it to really be worth watching.
If a movie is going to be as predictable as one of this genre, then we should at least be made to care enough about the characters to want to watch it to the end. In this case, I managed to get through half of the movie and it felt like I had watched ten hours of it. I wasn't masochistic enough to endure a further 40 minutes of this utter garbage so called it quits. The creepy guy probably gets the boring girl in the end, right? Nice message sent out by the way that sexual harassment is a good way to get a girlfriend. I give this a big ZERO out of a billion.
What I got to say about "Management" is that it's an okay of a movie. "It sometimes gets boring but it also has a moment that this movie has a heart and soul of cleverness to it as well." The performances that a given in this movie by Steve Zahn and Jennifer Aniston are beguiling. The directing and screenplay by Stephen Belber is fine. The cinematography and score is good as well.
Another somewhat disappointing romantic comedy in a filmography full of them for Jennifer Aniston. This is too goofy to be taken seriously, and her character is so wishy washy that you root for her to just make a decision and stick by it. Definitely not romantic (nutso maybe ) and very little comedy. Zahn and Aniston do have screen presence though.
Worst script, unbelievable story. Jennifer Aniston does her best but why the hell she she sigh up for this film?
Entertaining romantic comedy that is routine but however goes screwball in the last half and becomes really interesting.
