I was crying after I finished watching this movie. The way it encapsulates the complexities of human mind is jaw-dropping. It had me ponder that yes, we are all hurt and scarred, but some of us carry such indescribable pain not everyone could ever fully understand.

Digamos que toda a construção inicial é poeticamente linda. A integração do elenco é cativante, temos atores promissores e bem empenhados, uma locação, fotografia bem feitas, mas o roteiro não me vende um desfecho favorável. Claro que o plot foi surpreendente, mas a maneira que foi mostrado não foi crível. Talvez por termos um vilão que parecia sobre humano e sua finalização foi tão banal. Uma pena.

A great dive into the complexities of mental health, especially PTSD and how trauma can completely alter someone's brain and way of life forever. The twist is heartbreaking but amazing in terms of storytelling. I think the actors did such a good job portraying the story and I couldn't give them enough kudos for bringing the plot alive with how much emotion they put into everything.

I loved this movie! I was invested the entire time. It wasn't too scary and it's perfect for anyone who is wanting to get into horror/thriller films. The plot, characters, symbolism, everything was amazing. 10/10 recommend.

Solo puedo decir ¡¡WOW!! Empezando desde que me lo recomendo un video de TikTok y que tenia pocas esperanzas de que realmente me gustara porque no confio en TikTok, puedo decir que me encanto, ame la pelicula, cada escenario, cada dialogo, las actuaciones, el suspenso... ABSOLUTAMENTE TODO. Al final termine llorando porque empatize tanto con el protagonista que senti su verdadero dolor de ese vacio que nos deja la gente cuando se va. Llore de verdad. Recomendisima, me encanto todo, el plot twist y las muertes que verdaderamente me dolieron 😭

I really liked the movie overall, but thought the final act was kinda dumb. It was interesting, kind of an old-timey thriller, sort of a ghost story, but not really. Idk, definitely a nice distraction.

Following the death of their mother, four british immigrants to America try to make ends until their oldest brother is of age. The house creaks. Featuring two of my favorite young actors, MacKay and Taylor-Joy, I enjoyed this gothic haunted house tale. There aren't a lot of scares. This is as much a drama as horror story. I loved the atmosphere and tone director Sanchez creates telling the tragedy that befalls this family. Some complain of underwitten characters. I think they missed the point.

I picked this for my movie night with my boyfriend, as I usually fall asleep when watching something at midnight, this kept me sitting upright, engaged and intrigued throughout the whole film, definitely one of my favorite movies in a very long time.

Loved this film, draws you in start to finish, great actors / writing, consise and doesn't drag on, thrilling. Hugely reccomend
