This is a funny movie from the beginning, after the first half, it didn't manage to keep me in as easily. I really like the concept, the movie is not even as bad as the movie rating would lead you to believe. There were so many moments when I felt second-hand embarrassment, which is something that most movies fail to get out of me. It's basically Star Trek, but more comedic. I liked it. :)

It's very funny and quite interesting, showing a change from prejudice against people to appreciation of them.It tells us that we should not blindly be prejudiced against others.

For a family movie from my childhood, I remembered it being more enjoyable. Anyway, I guess it serves its purpose somehow.

I laughed my hardest during this movie, it was so funny and the actors did a great job, pretty great plot too. There was a few things that made no sense, but I really enjoyed this movie, it's one of my all time favourite movies!!

I thought this was a movie about Eddie Murphy meeting Dave Bautista boy was I wrong. I saw this with my friend josh and he started screaming my name so loud that I told to him shut up. He started smearing oil on Eddie Murphy’s bald head after the movie I went to the bathroom and called an Uber to take me home. Didn’t talk to him for 2 months.

It has a clever premise, good special effects and a decent amount of jokes thanks to Eddie Murphy's charm but Meet Dave's poor direction, inferiority to Murphy's other films and a cliched script, albeit not to the extent that you might expect from this fish-out-of-water comedy, make it nothing more than painfully average to the Nth degree.

Meet Dave is another average alien movie. Like alot of others ailiens come down to earth with a mission, then realise that earth is better than they though it was, and in some cases fall in love with humans. It is very mediokre, and definately not my kind of movie. It has some humour, though most of it awkward and lousy, and I wouldn't reccomend this to anyone above the age of 8. I rated this movie 2 stars.

I can't believe this movie only has a 20% rating. It has a great premise, is very funny and has great performances from everyone involved.

The only redeeming thing about the film is the script. Everything is is a pile of garbage mixed with feces. However, I still enjoy the film, so I gave it an extra half star.

A very, very, very funny movie. One of the funnest movies I've ever seen. I just love Eddie Murphy. It also had a very unique story that was funny and unexpected. And it also had some great other actors in it as well such as the security guard in the ship, the 2nd in command of the ship and the lady he gets to know throughout the movie. Oh, and especially the cop who was overly interested in everything and turned out being right. One part I didn't quite like was the fact that they made a huge deal of them not leaving and turning it into a positive thing, and then at the end, they get power back and leave without question. That part didn't make a lot of sense and was anticlimactic a bit. Other than that though, I just loved the movie. It also had some good heart in it as well and was clean so it would be okay for everyone to watch. I like seeing what Eddie Murphy is doing nowadays and part of that is because I watched this movie. Just a hilarious, laugh-out-loud funny movie. Highly recommend.
