The humor is low-brow, it isn’t well acted or directed, the special effects aren’t good and the premise and writing are again dumb. The only positive I can think of is A. J. Langer, who plays the love interest to Paul Walker's character, did a great job in her workout prep for the movie. Skip this one!

A movie with a low intellectual level. There is nothing interesting in the plot and the play of actors. Stupid and inappropriate affectations of all the actors involved in this absurdity.

A movie so bad that it hurts. But if your a fan of the late great paul walker, it's surreal to see him so young and in a movie like this. Don't watch expecting it to be good, watch it expecting to say hello to an old friend. 4.4/10

Not even apologetic (well, maybe a little) with this one, I just about enjoyed 'Meet the Deedles'. My love of Paul Walker from the 'The Fast and the Furious' franchise is possibly clouding my judgement slightly, but I honestly like Walker and co-star Steve Van Wormer in this. They play their ridiculous roles well, their characters are - simply - cringey surf 'dudes' - they come across as intended, while Walker and Van Wormer work together nicely under those conditions. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying this is anything close to a great film. However, it's a pure turn off your brain and watch type of production. It didn't even make me laugh all that much, but the stuff with PW and SVW is enjoyable for some reason. I name those two only, as the other characters and subplot is indeed absolutely terrible. I like Dennis Hopper, as most do I'm sure, but his character and story is terrible. It's just as nonsensical as the above, but way less enjoyable. That almost knocked my feelings to give it a bad rating, but thankfully they focus more on Walker/Van Wormer's side of the story; every time Hopper's part appears, it's more of an annoyance than anything else. I didn't expect to like this, especially with the cover and how dodgy Disney's barrage of comedies have been so far in the late 1990s. While this isn't anything amazing, it just narrowly gets a 3* rating from me. I do understand why most dislike it.

Mind-numbing Stupidity: The Movie!

"Meet the Deedles" is the ultimate groovy 90's filmography dude! Unfortunately it's as ridiculous and stupid as the title might imply. Without any brains, it's predictable and fairly annoying. The film might have had an audience once, but those were all 11 to 17 year old boys growing up in the 1990's and have since grown up. This one is best left forgotten. (VHS' January 31, 2012)

Contrairement au mediocre DUMB & DUMBER, MEET THE DEEDLES a un certain sens du rythme, des acteurs tres sympathiques (JOHN ASHTON, PAUL WALKER & STEVE VAN WORMER) et une histoire qui tient a peu pres la route. C'est neanmoins tres con et enfantin. Gamin j'aurais adore. J'ai juste su apprecier le film a sa juste valeur, ici.

A nice carefree Disney movie. People need to lighten up with it a bit. It's goofy and fun, so enjoy it! I recently learned that this was Paul Walker's first lead role in a film, and thought that was cool. (First viewing - Late childhood)
