A movie that represents a generation of kids growing up in the 90s. We watched this movie soooo much growing up. For the right age group this is a must see.

Classic sports Flick. Although a bit stale and boring at times when it focuses on the backstop of Coach Gordan Bombay. But when it gets into the really star of the show The Mighty Ducks team. It gets really entertaining and is overall a great story.

Because this movie is made for kids, The Mighty Ducks can skate along with a cookie-cutter inspirational sports movie plot, amateurish acting, and juvenile humor. I’m not going to judge it as harshly because I know that I enjoyed watching it when I was younger, even if I wanted to send some aspects of this movie to the penalty box while I was watching it as an adult. There are still even a few moments that made me smile with nostalgia. That being said, I don’t think I could recommend this movie to adults who didn’t watch it as kids. I don’t think The Mighty Ducks would fly with that kind of audience.

The underdog team must come together to win and learn some life lessons along the way. This movie type has been done a few too many times, but this is one of the better ones. The story flows well, though a little fast for my tastes. Some of the line deliveries seemed a little wooden to me, most of those were from Emilio Estevez, which surprised me. The intro scenes of the movie did not work for me, but once Estevez’s character became the team coach the rest of the movie was fine. The team characters were interesting and each had their uniqueness that helped the team. I can see why this movie spawned a few sequels. I think this is a movie worth your time.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE! But I can get how some might not like it and I can see the argument that I really like this movie because I grew up in a very hockey heavy family and area of Minnesota, but I still love this movie.

This one is a cute typical sports movie, nothing new or outstanding, but very entertaining.

Absolute classic. Rotten Tomatoes can't be taken as grail with review percentages like this. It doesn't make any sense. Still to this day, 2023, it holds up, entertaining, great performances throughout.

Watched this movie with my kids (ages 1, 2, 4, 6, & 8) and they loved it! Forgot how great it really was! The low reviews are ridiculous most of them are critiquing a movie 30 years later. RT didn't even exist when this movie was inspiring kids (and an NHL hockey team) all over the country! Great feel good watch and some great funny parts kids laughed at. Amazing movie to revisit the good ol' days while sharing some nostalgia with your kids! Remember, it's a sports movie made in the early 90s for KIDS and families.. in that sense it absolutely nails it for its intended target audience!

This is my favorite sports-themed movie I have ever watched!
