If you are looking for a straight up predictable cool sports movie this is it.

Great casting with good chemistry with one another. Hamm plays the socially unresponsive talent agent role convincingly. The only critique I have would be the relationship between Hamm and Bell needed to have more focus on it developing as it came together a slightly rushed side note to the story.

A true story that's touching. You knew how would end so there wasn't much tension.

very good. the themes of it aren't original or anything, but it's a nice story with a great ending. a nice feel-good watch with some funny parts dispersed throughout.

Motivating, inspirational story that gave me a refreshed feeling. The cast was overall pretty balanced, with Jon Hamm and Bill Paxton. The story could have had some more highlights, and felt flat. For starters, the story of JB and Brenda can be elaborated a little more. Other than that, the story was simple, the message is clear, and fun to watch as a first timer.

I can't say there is anything overly noteworthy about 'Million Dollar Arm'. but it's well paced and features a great (true) story - it makes for a very enjoyable 124 minutes. Jon Hamm is a good choice to play lead character JB, he does carry the film with his performance. There are other pleasant performances though, Pitobash Tripathy (Amit) stands out most from those behind Hamm. Bill Paxton (Tom), Lake Bell (Brenda), Suraj Sharma (Rinku) and Madhur Mittal (Dinesh) merit props too. It's a feel-good premise, one that is rather nice to see play out. The score is solid, as is the cinematography. It's a positive that they spend a decent chunk of the film actually in India, I had a inkling they might've skipped it but thankfully they do not - they tell the story well. It's probably Disneyfied in ways, but who cares. It isn't anything necessarily special, but I certainly thoroughly enjoyed this. Recommended.

Since it's a Biopic I don't say it is bad nor good but it's entertaining. In the movie that has been taken to India and to the US, the journey has shown very well.

This movie was about baseball and family!

Decent movie idea, and made better that it was based on a true story... It just seemed to progress too slowly without a lot of depth. The characters were straight forward (or annoyingly predictable), and even though most Disney is predictable, this movie just seemed lazy in trying to make things interesting. While it was an okay way to waste 2 hours, at times it seemed a little tedious- as you know everyone is going to learn a valuable lesson, and be successful.

Fun sports film undercut by the reality that the pitchers never made it near the major leagues in real life. The characters are not developed enough.

I'm not into the cultural appropriation bullshit at all but being Asian, this movie is just pretty uncomfortable to watch, with boring to boot

This sports drama was really good. Jon Hamm and the rest of the cast did an excellent job in this movie. This true story was great and inspirational. It's all about showing the world that no matter where you're from you can do incredible things. Baseball fan or not everyone will enjoy this movie. I would recommend this movie to anyone.

Worst baseball movie ever. Period.

Before I start you know JB Bernstein is a Hero and that’s because he found 2 people from India to play baseball! Let’s see any one can play any sport! Now to the movie. Wow such a out standing true story that I enjoy watching it is a good true story! I love the trailer to the movie it was cool and funny check it out. If people watch the movie they will laugh because it was some what funny. Now critics gave the movie 64% As for the audience they gave it 68% what is wrong with them!!! Well better yet in my Book it gets a 90% OK!!! Keep in mind they did make a book based on the story plus best movie of 2014!

Dear Foreigners ...Don't come to shoot in India if you wish to see only most broken part,slums,gutters,and everything bad about India.. Honestly a deliberate attempt to show worst side of country. And it start getting on your nerves way to fast..Next time get out of slums,chor bazar, dongri and come to the area where a mid class indian lives..Crap

A real missed opportunity here. This film does not swing for the fences and is happy to be watchable...shame as it's a very interesting story and could have made a very fun and entertaining movie. This is just watchable.

Million Dollar Arm is based a true story about a sports agent who is down and out in the industry. Jon Hamm played the agent who seeks individuals who have unique skills to make an impact in the MLB. The movie was very predictable but engaging enough to keep you glued to the plot. Overall it was a nice family oriented movie, definitely worth watching.

Hear is a true story where JB found 2 men to play baseball and they are the first people from India to play baseball that's great of JB to do that, now how I look at it is it doesn't matter what country or city you live in because Any one can play Baseball!!
