Mindhorn Reviews
Very much underappreciated gem very much in the vein of the mighty boosh. Julian Barrett's continues his boosh persona, howard moon, and carries the film ably supported by fellow co-writer simon farnaby. It's jinga time!
After seeing the trailer, I was surprised at how funny this movie was. It's far from perfect but it is witty, original and carried by the energy of Barratt.
I loved this cheesy British comedy. It's silly but quite funny. I laughed out loud many times. This 2017 low budget movie is better than the often lousy bs, overrated, and unfunny Hollywood comedies churned out every year.
This is a pretty silly film - its a British comedy type spoof of sorts, of a washed up actor from a 1980s detective show. It features quite a lot of crude language, more specifically sex references and the titular character is a bit like an Alan Partridge type - indeed Steve Coogan, who plays Alan Partridge, features in this film asn ex-colleague of Mindhorn. Its quite a cheesy film and a little cliched I thought. Its fairly entertaining I suppose and its an easy enough watch, generally but its certainly nothing new and its definitely not the sort of film I'm likely to think about at all after seeing it. If it comes on 온라인카지노추천 then it may be worth a watch, if there's little else on I suppose but thats about all I can say for it really, so I wouldn't especially recommend it, no.
Pretty shit to be fair most of the characters where annoying and the plot boring. The only character i liked was Jasmine and she had nearly no screen time. Yeah it was just very boring
Joyously silly but never rises to laugh out loud humor; still very good performances by all of the lead and supporting cast
This film is brilliant and hilarious, it never gets bored and always keeps the pace and comedy high but when you watch it it always seems that the film could give you more but it can't do it and therefore leaves a certain sense of emptiness that however comes partly filled with the fact that it is really funny
I think the critics reviewers have been drinking heavily to give this a 90's+ rating. It is a movie that has been done many times before and done much better. This one doesn't even get above an occasional chuckle - it's just not very good and to pretend otherwise is nuts. It's baffling to rate this other than mediocore at best.
Quirky and mildly entertaining
I had high hopes - maybe a little too high. I love Boosh and I love their comedy, but this really missed the mark in so many ways, feeling devoid of original content and good humor.
I had low expectations for this film given the synopsis, but the high ratings convinced me to watch it. I'm glad I did, this was an awesome film, completely my sense of humour. I guess its Jason King meets Garth Marengh, or something like that. Very funny and nicely British.
An interesting premise that eventually falls directionless and ungrounded. Still, it has its worthwhile moments and good performances.
Solid ideas, limited execution
One of my top 10 movies of all time. Classic British humor.
Too damn funny. It's good to see Barrett back on screen and kicking butt. He's hilarious and definitely one of my favorite comedic actors of all time.
Lots of great reviews, so it must be me. I was hooked for about 20 minutes on it's daft likeable nostalgia trip, but then it became stupid, embarrassing and not very funny. One gag does not make a film. I have always disliked films that think they are funny as opposed to finding any kind of truth in the comedy.
