this was an awesome disney movie almost couldn't have been better, being honest i'm not a big fan of disney movies but this one definitely went above and beyond on this disney film. all love that i have for disney goes to this specific movie, i very much recommend!

It's not bad but I found it pretty forgettable, most of the movie was singing moments which really takes away from any cute or fun story they were trying to tell. Still somewhat entertaining and world, but it feels like they used singing parts just to make up for a short script to add runtime.

Had to see this movie after hearing the music on TikTok. I have to say, it was one of the best Disney movies I’ve seen in a very long time. I don’t know why I waited so long to watch it (other than being a 37 year old man and this is not my usual movie type). If you love the beach as I do & especially Hawaii, this movie is like a little vacation with spectacular animation and great voice actors. Heck, I’m not even really a fan of the Rock but he did a great job in this. Yes it has the classic elements or a good story: hardship, finding one’s self, perseverance and forgiveness. But you don’t need to re-write the formula to make an outstanding movie — it works for a reason. We can all relate and it inspires and moves us. In fact, there is one scene toward the end that had me shedding some manly tears. Honestly I would say this is up there with my childhood favorites: Aladdin and The Lion King. So much better than most of the junk Disney has made lately. Lin-Manuel Miranda did an outstanding job with the soundtrack. The original songs were perfect. I recommend watching it immediately if you haven’t already! Or maybe watch it again!

Breathtaking animation paired with some solid original songs makes for a standout in Disney's recent catalogue. I do feel that they could do with loosing some of commonly treat tropes from almost all their stories such as a significant loss early on in the story or defeat/big setback amongst our leading characters at the end of the 2nd act, I just feel they have the creative talent to subvert the usual narrative.

This movie is awesome the music was great too. About to watch part 2.

I thought this was fantastic. One of the best Disney blockbusters of this era, with great music, great story and characters, and wonderful visuals.

Great fun for the kids. A traditional Disney Princess film but with a little more depth to it, being abut personal discovery and bravery.

This movie has a great plot, cast. and well put together characters (even if Dwyane Johnson is a bit overused now) that tie together in a wonderful movie that keeps you invested and entertained.

I couldn’t get into the movie. They had started running out of original ideas and putting out movies that were not original enough for Disney. They spent to much time on the water. I liked 1 song. When in the 90’s it was 97% of the songs was great.

I am an adult and I actively sat through this movie with enjoyment. I know some kids movies are not the best at keeping children and adults engaged at the same time, but this one was actively well done and enjoyable.

100% recommend the animation is a beautiful and it’s so put together and it’s one of the few Disney movies that brings back the magic and I would watch again.
