Dark, dark, dark. But if you can accept that, it becomes very entertaining, with numerous hysterical moments. A teen movie from the perspective of former teens that yearn for a return to the past. But there is a barrier in their way, kids!

Verry bad movie, no good story. Couldt be so much beter....

I don't understand how the critics score and the audience sore is so different! I expected the oppoiste, audience loving it and critics hating it. This was a very good film, Cage and Blair are fantastic in it and it's never ever boring.

Creepy an weird that's being nice

Wow, i don't have words to say how much i enjoy this movie. The performances, the dark humor, the principal idea and ALL of this movie is so enjoyable. Highly recommended

One of those examples where terror and absurd humor collide like carnival cars. At first glance, the plot seems inconceivable but the idea is not to take anything seriously and find the flavor.

The premise might seem cheap or corny, but it is surprisingly good. It really gave Nick Cage's acting a chance to shine. It's entertaining all around.

Should them continue the massacre in the school scene not one hour movie the kids trying to survive in the house it was cool concept but they should it make better

Uhmmm i got mixed feelings about this one. I love Mr. Cage but lately the screen hasn't been good to him & its sad to see lol. The concept of this movie was super fun and different, it was funny, gory, creepy, and interesting so I liked it in that sense. But the movie was sloppy like it was filmed last minute. The worst part about this movie isn't the acting, or the visuals, or the plot... it was the f**king ending. WTF was that... if that was an attempt to leave room for a pt. 2 or keep us wondering that was ridiculous & it didnt do any of those things. Worst ending I've ever seen.

Una premisa diferente, y bastante terrorífica si se la analiza un segundo, aunque la película no va por eso y se vuelva más por el lado de comedia violenta. Creo que la primera parte del film demuestra que tenía potencial para mucho más pero a medida que la trama avanza (y se centra más en la familia protagonista) como que empieza a perder potencia.. Aunque como es corta logra funcionar igual.

Pointless film with no ending it's just nic cage over acting more than ever

The music choice is weird and it could have been longer but sfter all is good. Nic Cage is not in this movie for all that time but whe he's in you notice that in fact the best scenes are from him. Selma Blair is good too.

Could've been such a good film but was actually a waste of time. Slow at the beginning and repetitive throughout.

A fun idea, it's just in the execution that things go pear-shaped. This should of been a vehicle for Nicolas Cage to show off his eccentric, high energy acting style, and what we see is great, it's just that there isn't enough of it.

This movie traumatized me especially the school scene the one in half is from the slap that Nicholas cage did who ever thought of this movie probably made their kids watch this to show him how much he hates them

I was actually into this movie until the crappiest ending in movie history happened. No explanation for why they went nuts but that wasn't as bad as just cutting the movie off in the middle of dialogue and calling it an ending. Like wth???
