I thought the film subtly unveiled the inner thoughts of the characters over the course of its run. Certainly not an action film but a fine job on character study

It dragged a little, but I did like the flash forwards and flash backwards story telling.

I liked the moody tone of this film and the exceptional acting. The pace is probably slow for some viewers, but I found it introspective and nuanced.

Too slow moving and really didn't understand who was what and what was who. Could only understand about half of dialogue spoken and continuous flashbacks contributed to confusion.

Intimate details of the lives of people with limited choices. The heroine opens access to freedom both for herself and the people she encounters.

Great character driven film.

Probably a good movie if you like S L O W, S L O W, S L O W literary type movies. Also, 20 or 30 minutes of bare-naked nudity. I couldn't say why she's walking around nude, but who am I to complain.

What a waste of time!! Absolutely boring! Producers tried to keep your attention by having a young girl walk around nude for half the movie! Disjointed, poor character development, and no real plot! We love Colin Firth and have NO idea why he would associate with this movie!! Such a disappointment! Every character in this movie is creepy!
