Multiplicity Reviews

Absolute diamond in the rough. My brother and I quote this movie all the time. Keatons best role in my opinion. He plays himself as well as 3 other very distinct characters that all have charm. -a no bullcrap guy -an OCD sensitive -a complete idiot The movie takes a bit to build up, but then really gets fun. I made my wife watch it and she now quotes it as well. If u liked Mr Mom, or Night shift, Kearon has just as many quotes and scenes from this one for sure. Still one of my all time favorite comedies

Though technically very incorrect, this comedy manages to amuse and make you ponder about what you would do.

An extremely overworked contractor (Micheal Keaton) discovers a way to clone himself so he can spend at least a little time at home with his beautiful but neglected wife (Andie MacDowell). The clone eventually wants a helper of his own and clones himself - a copy of a copy. The clones then begin to destroy Keaton's life and repeatedly hit on his wife. It's very funny!

Amazing performance by Keaton. The visual effects are superb when they are all in the scene together. Classic film.

The most Michael Keaton thing Michael Keaton could do. I LOVE it. Don't sleep on this movie and let any negative reviews steer you away. Keaton's acting as different versions of his character is flawless. It's the whole reason to watch this movie. Great comedy watching the 4 "Steve's" different personalities. Please do yourself a favor, and enjoy a fun time watching this film.

I absolutely loved this movie but only gave it 4.5 stars because comedies are more lighthearted than serious 5-star films. But as a comedy I would give it five stars. In my opinion this is a very underrated film. Michael Keaton does an amazing job of playing three distinctly different Personalities, the main character and his two clones. Keaton is an overworked construction manager who needs help and gets approached by a client to do a cloning experiment, which succeeds hilariously. Harold Ramis was masterful at quirky comedy as a Director, and this film is no exception, and writers included the talented duo of Lowell Ganz & Babaloo Mandel....And the plot is just great fun, as Keaton's wife (Andie MacDowall) gets mixed up with all three of her husbandd's selves. It's a great supporting cast with Eugene Levy among others, and just a really nice job of showing a realistic and caring marriage, apart from the cloning of course. I first watched it in theaters when it was originally released, I own it on both DVD and still have my old VHS tape, and I probably watch it at least a couple times a year because it still just totally cracks me up. The nuances of performance deserved more attention at the time, but in retrospect it has stood the test of time, and I still just bust up laughing when I watch it. This comedy is in my stack of go-to feelgood films right up there with Overboard, Moonstruck, Six Days Seven Nights, Parenthood and The Family Stone. 😎

This is a guilty pleasure movie for me and I can't get enough of more Michael Keaton.

Entertaining at times, but I wouldn't watch it again. I think this story would work better as an episode of a 온라인카지노추천 show (30 min, maybe 1 hour) than a movie.

13/12/2020 Hi. I am really sorry to say, that I don't think this one worked. Is it true? If done well, such stories embody real feelings. Description: a man is having kittens- unsure by what prompted- illness miasma. Illness comes to head, monster made- he clones himself, so he can be two places at once. (disaster). (repair.) Reaction: After a few days, all what I have is- that this movie is about shame. The last image, is of him sending out his family- mother, boy, girl. Then of sending out his clones- into the world. Are the clones junctures of himself, way he feels he behaves, with the different members? of his immediate family. Comedy can tip quite easily into cruelty. Its business is to make a them to our us, perhaps. Here, a fax comes through all garbled. Then later, one of the clones- (and here my compassion fails.) is quite atavistic? So, it's how one deals with having a child - who has learning disabilities? if that is not carefully put, then careful is what I want to be. And so I just felt, his shame. And there's nothing funny about that. Sorry, people. Thank you.

Multiplicity relies solely on Keaton carrying the simple yet intriguing premise, and Keaton delivers in spades. With the ability to make each iteration of himself a distinct character is a testament to his acting chops and the movie provides plenty of hilarious situations for Keaton on Keaton on Keaton chemistry.

Laughed out loud during this movie. Plus Andie MacDowell.

A one-joke movie with very little going on for it.

The more Michael Keatons the better it gets.

Though not as funny as some of Harold Ramis's other works like Vacation or Groundhog Day, Multiplicity still offers viewers to a somewhat passable view with Michael Keaton being more then one character with wacky antics. Though a bad movie, it is by far not one of the worst comedies ever made, just is a enjoyable watch if your a fan of Harold Ramis films or Michael Keaton~

Incredible spectrum of Michael Keaton's acting. One of his best movies and a classic comedy.

It tries to hard to be funny. Funny comes naturally. Not through force.
