This movie is simply amazing. Everything is practical effects, and there are so many technically impressive shots (i.e: Kermit and Fozzie dancing, Kermit riding a bike, ect). Aside from that, it's packed with so much emotion and humor, and has a cohesive plot that manages to fully introduce most characters that are a part of it, and even flesh out a few of them.

Super solid film, a classic to always be relied on. Plus rainbow connection is always in my heart.

This movie is so funny!!! Between the song "Movin' Right Along" (possibly one of the greatest songs ever), the fork in the road, and everything else, it's just AWESOME! Definitely watch this movie. I don't really know what Gonzo is. He's kind of like a turkey.

La historia está muy bien echa la trama es buena

I just watched this yesterday and it was great! I love Kermit in this movie and rainbow connection is amazing! This movie also has some great gags. I love the big bird cameo too. Who would have knew miss piggy knew karate! This is a great family movie.

The Muppets have their first ever feature film with a simple yet charming story on how the Muppets got together. I really liked the Big bird cameo and Rainbow Connection is a top tier song for me.

One of my favorite movies of all time and the beginning of the film franchise of the famous Muppets. With cameos and characters that are fun, zaney, and sometimes even emotional, it shows a good time at every turn. The music alone is outstanding, every character in the film is outrageously entertaining, and there aren't really any boring parts of the story. This movie just follows you along the entire way, and is a technical phenomenon after Jim Henson’s complex wants and directions. This movie was the whole reason I even wanted to be an actor.

The Muppet Movie is a classic gem and has aged very well

The original Muppet movie, is one of my favorite films of all time. There’s good characters, funny moments, great plot and so much more. I love The Muppets, and The Muppet Movie. 10/10 and 5 out of 5 stars

A hilarious movie that gives the Muppets a fantastic theatrical debut.

I want to see this again. The music was wonderful, the humor was hilarious, and Big Bird being in it was hilarious as well. This fits as a wonderful prequel to how the Muppets became the lovable team we all know and love.

Absolute classic - filled with all of Henson’s charm & wit - Kermit riding a pushbike is cinematic gold!

This is definitely the best Muppets movie, and will always stay that way.

40% rating ... I can respect the amount of hardwork necessary for a film like this, but I struggled to maintain interest and some of the humor seemed flat.

The Muppets film debut is a wonderful musical comedy road adventure with real heart. Kermit and the gang are right at home on the big screen, delivering one liners with the precision of Hope & Crosby, and singing unforgettable songs, most notably the Oscar nominated "Rainbow Connection". Look for some hilarious cameos throughout, as well.

A charming absolute must-see.
