This movie was incredibly entertaining from start to finish, and it was so much fun to watch. The performances from the cast were amazing, and the story was really compelling and funny in all of the right places. I definitely recommend it for comedy and legal-drama fans!

Nice funny movie but the court stuff is kind of repetitive and the plot is cliche and sort of predictable but still a great movie!

Good lord, one of the most hilarious comedies of all time. Phenomenal storyline and stellar performances by an all-star cast! Oscar performance by Marisa Tomei.

I just saw this movie yesterday very funny and just a good time also Marisa Tomei keeps getting more atractive as the movie goes on

Jonathan Lynn directed and Dale Launer wrote this comedy-drama. Starring Marisa Tomei, Joe Pesci in the title role, and others. Marisa Tomei received the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress. The film follows two boys as they drive through Alabama, stop at a store to buy some food, and then leave when the police arrest them for killing the store owner. Unable to afford a costly attorney, one of the boys calls his mother, who sends his cousin Vinny (Joe Pesci) from New York, along with his fiancé Marisa Tomei, to court. Vinny doesn't have prior experience how to fight a case, less one involving murder. He's just six weeks of experience. The boys accept him with no other option, but the defendants he is defending are disappointed by his three court appearances. But since he was young, Vinny has been skilled at frying and roasting the opponent with constant questioning. Thanks to Vinny, the case is gradually shifting in favor of the defendants. The film offers a terrific narrative. I was first hesitant to see the film, but after knowing that Marisa had won an Oscar for this film, I decided to give it a go. The film was given excellent attention in terms of screenplay, direction, and acting. I've seen hours of court trial videos on YouTube, and the movie depicts immaculate legal norms and standards. The judge telling each witness that they are still under oath, or using the phrase "stand down" to the witness, was a professional approach to writing for an otherwise comedy movie. There were also some hilarious scenes and dialogues. Joe getting taunted by two men for money was amusing.

Such a great movie! So funny and could be watched over and over!

One of the greatest movies ever. Not just greatest comedy or greatest courtroom movie, greatest, period. Tremendous cast, clever script and story. Impossible to not love this film. "Seven bushes."

Just a fun movie that is so New York. Funny enough it makes Alabama look like a nightmare. Joe Pesci was amazing as always. Not a historical movie that will have you with tears in your eyes but funny. My only complaint is the entire time I’m wondering how this court case is even being considered with how ridiculous it is. Joe Pesci fiancée in this film was amazing too

A funny, fish-out-of-water story about a New Yorker lawyer (very New York) and his girlfriend who journey into the deep south to help the lawyer’s cousin and a friend who have been arrested and charged with murder based on a misunderstanding. The lawyer barely knows what he’s doing, is faking it till he makes it, but has street smarts. Stereotypes and broad humour abounds.

There have been many courtroom dramas that have glorified the Great American Legal System. This is not one of them. My Cousin Vinny is a 1992 American comedy film directed by Jonathan Lynn 🚗 It’s good 🙂 Worth a watch. I’d recommend it if you like this genre 👍🏼 Some very funny moments… Two carefree pals traveling through Alabama are mistakenly arrested, and charged with murder. Fortunately, one of them has a cousin who's a lawyer - Vincent Gambini, a former auto mechanic from Brooklyn who just passed his bar exam after his sixth try. When he arrives with his leather-clad girlfriend, to try his first case, it's a real shock - for him and the Deep South!

Para mí “My Cousin Vinny” tiene un ritmo por lo menos extraño, y con un final que se puede sentir cómo apresurado; pero todo eso queda en segundo plano gracias al fantástico Joe Pesci, el junto a todo el cast retratan a personas adorables, dónde la narrativa expone su personalidad y emociones de forma sutil, pero potente. Y en una película de este género es imprescindible empatizar con los personajes, y gracias al fantástico guion de Dale Launer lo consiguen. La definición para mí de esta película es originalidad. El desarrollar a sus personajes a base de exponer sus debilidades es para mi lo que los vuelve humanos y empáticos con el espectador. La trama no busca que empaticemos con ellos a base de lastima, busca que a base de ser genuinos consigo mismos encuentren sus fortalezas cómo personajes.

Thought each cast member added to the quality of this movie. Never gets old.

Even 32 years later I still can laugh when remembering the wealth of one liners gems and outrageous situational comedy. At the time of first watching it was a wholly unexpected delight and, of course the fresh and stellar performances by Marisa Tomei, Fred Gwynne, Joe Pesci and Austin Pendleton that really makes this a classic

I now this movie is iconic but the beggining is way to slow even if there are a few moments of comedy its not enough to keep you interested, im still giving it 4 stars becaus ei was satisfied at the end
