One of the best and most impactful MMA movies of our generation!

Such an under rated movie . Heard was drop dead gorgeous in this, Coach Roqua as a character to this day still makes me want to do better in life , the parasocial relationship reminds me of my coaches in high school. The bully theme resonates with me and they picked the perfect villain . And as a ufc fan it’s just solid , everything about the movie is nostalgia , I used to go to pretty sweet house parties growing up so there’s that too. If it’s not for you because you can’t relate I get it , like if you never were on a good sports team or had a good coach and never was social but it really delivered for me and still does to this day

Insanely and criminally underrated movie. If you ever trained mma or have ever been a troubled teen with many regrets, you'd relate to this movie. If you like revenge, fighting, knarly fight scenes, eye candy, partying etc etc you need to see this movie. This isn't an "adult karate kid movie" this an mma movie. There's a hero a villain, and a cool build up to when the hero (the victim) and the villain (the bully) finally clash and settle things once and for all and beat the tar out of each other and with a perfect ending of the hero and the villain having an understanding and showing respect. There's so much more to this movie and the ignorance of most critics on here about this moving is absolutely embarrassing. I will admit the acting wasn't great but it wasn't God awful and I've seen wayyyy worse acting than that.

Incredible soundtrack, great locations, amazing fighting scenes and very good cast made this movie my favorite guilty pleasure that I always come back to.

No knock on Dijimon he had a good role in this 1. As for the others the acting was pretty horrific. The story was alright, if it had a slightly better cast this may have been a good 1.

THE BEST FUCKING MOVIE EVER! Many people take it as a silly teen movie about martial arts but it's deeper than that. THE ACTORS, THE DIALOGUES AND THE SOUNDTRACK ARE AMAZING.
