One of the best movies I've seen, great job, My gratitude to the director

this is a terrific comedy. I'm slightly biased since I was an extra in the movie, but still!!! Augustine Frizzell is a brilliant director. :)

this movie is so funny

Two girls Angela and Jessie plan to go to Galveston, Texas to celebrate Jessie's birthday They've already used up much of their rent money and need just a bit more Unfortunately because they spend so much time partying and doing drugs they lose a lot of their earnings from a drug scam They try to get it back any way they can Maia Mitchell and Camilla Morone have great chemistry acting as bumbling fools who get so knee deep in their addictions The rest of the film sadly has then fumbling around not doing anything interesting They don't have the maturity to be fully likable It's a very lackluster script and the characters almost have zero likability since they never learn anything redeemable by the end There's also a lot of so-called gross out humor that could've been used in another film I've seen better entries than this by A24 Films

Great little low budget movie about little low budget people. Best comedy I've seen since they stopped making comedies. Definitely worth a look

A terrific and hilarious comedy about the young poor Americans who are forced to resort to crime to survive.

This is the movie Spring Breakers wishes it could be. The girls are extremely likeable and share a chemistry, that makes them rise above just being a couple airheads, whose only concern is going to the beach. They get into raunchy and ridiculous adventures in trying to achieve their goal. This is the female equivalent to Superbad, that is sorely underrepresented.

Thoroughly entertaining and charming from start to finish. Augustine Frizzell compiles a terrific cast. Maia Mitchell and Camila Morrone bring an undeniable comedic chemistry to the screen. I found it wonderfully refreshing to see these two girls given a script that allowed them to "act like boys." This film is hilarious, over-the-top, raunchy, and all the while, completely genuine.

So it opens with one girl drawing a penis on the other girl's face, they get up and walk into the other room and now the penis is gone? What? Is there any rhyme or reason anymore? Let's forget that we have to believe these girls are playing 16 despite them being 21/25 respectfully . Let's also forget that no one would actually behave the way these girls do. Let's also pretend we believe that her mom is out hooking in the street right in front of their house. The brother is a dealer, and she seems to have a problem with that despite her raunchy behavior and herself doing drugs? Their relationship? Ambiguous. It's one situation after the other that is just so ridiculously not believable. All this stuff happened within 12 minutes. Two young black guys break into the house and trying to get money owed and then steals an OLD 온라인카지노추천, because that's what they would do. And then the insanely unfunny cop scene. All enough to turn it off before the 15 minute mark. One cop had a 70s porn mustache. right... 70s porn mustache.. None of it made any sense.... A24 get it together!!! Who the hell green lit this script?? I could write an essay of why this was wrong and bad, but I think I said enough. No wonder why this was a failure...

At two different points in the movie Maia Mitchell's character Angie says things like, "I would kidnap you and take you to Mexico before I let you go to Arkansas, dude!" and then when talking about sad places that should replace screensavers of exotic locations the first thing that pops into her head is Wal*Mart. What does the girl have against Arkansas? I live in Arkansas. Angie's hate for the Natural State has nothing to do with my rating though; that would have more to do with the fact a character holding out on taking a shit is a major plot device.

Must see on Amazon video!!!! This is basically a story that takes place in the heart of Texas and the characters bring it to life.

This movie has a rebellious, anti-establishment spirit.

Why would you go back? So this is about a pair of teenage girls (Maia Mitchell, Camile Morrone). They're best friends and roommates in a shared rented house. When they decide to put up rent money in advance so they can go vacation on the beach, they plan on working a high number of waitressing shifts to make up for it. With their lifestyle, what could possibly go wrong? Now I watched this very cold, so much so that I wasn't even 100% certain how it worked its way onto my queue. Knowing me, I probably heard a positive review, queued it, and then forgot about it. With a current 5.8 rating on IMDb, I didn't really know what to expect. This is actually one of my favorite types of movies out there: the diamond in the rough. Now the angle that I most appreciated about this is that this is kind of a surreal comedy. The lives that these two young girls are leading don't quite feel like they exist in the real world; it is fast and loose (but that's the way they like it), and while there are consequences, it feels like those repercussions should have happened long ago. Even though I would probably not want to be friends with these sassy girls in the real world, I highly enjoyed watching their slice of life misadventures. It is nothing heavy, so the stakes aren't all that high, but being poor is a struggle, and I feel this is a theme that this movie successfully captures. Sometimes a film doesn't have to be about the sweeping romance or the big promotion, sometimes it can focus on how you might not make rent if you don't show up for the job you hate. I love a short movie, and this is just barely 80 minutes when you subtract the end credits. I would have even been happy with their antics going on even longer, but it is better to leave the audience wanting more than the other way around. The story moves quickly to the point that I never got bored with this or even tempted by distractions for that matter. The offbeat humor is laugh out loud funny, and even though it does get raunchy at a couple of points, it puts in the work in the setup to earn that payoff (you'll know what I am talking about when you see it). This is a delightful and weird little surprise, and I was not expecting it to be ranking with some of my favorites of the year.

Its refreshing seeing a female oriented comedy about two women who don't seem to care about anything that happens to them, while keeping a close friendship through trust. Funny at times, but its the sweeter moments that work better for Never Goin' Back.

Didn't know what to expect, but it was a fun comedy!

Funny surprise of a film. It’s the female Super Bad. The acting from the two leads have great chemistry and the supporting cast bounce off each other well. Camila Morrone is the next Jennifer Lawrence. She was the main reason I went to the movie but the whole thing really worked. I wish more people would have gotten to see it. The movie only played 1 week in Santa Cruz Ca. I’m guessing theaters didn’t like that the young ladies are high school dropouts and struggling to pay rent but that’s not the message. It’s about friendship and sticking together through tough times.
