Of an Age Reviews
Moderately enjoyable if fairly routine, familiar comedy romance. Cast is spirited and efficient (especially Julia Harari). Time-jump in the last 1/3 was mishandled, setting up a weak ending. Bright dialogue is diluted by the thick-accented slang-heavy exchanges which are often hard to follow, making it likely to be better enjoyed on video with subtitles (just sayin'!).
Loved the story of realistic emotion. Not about sex, its about LOVE.
Amazing and beautiful
Beautiful movie, deeply emotional story, great acting, electric chemistry
Taking this movie in the context of a low budget production and knowing what their other films are like, I thought it was alright. It has a few unrealistic plot holes but tells a story about a closeted gay dancer who wastes much of his life hiding from himself. Spoiler Alert: it doesn't come to a definitive conclusion so if making up an ending isn't your thing this might not be the film for you.
Great characters in a heartbreaking story. Leads have fantastic chemistry and a a believable connection. Cinematography gives an almost claustrophobic intimacy.
Very good bringing the characters close to full circle…. But I wish Adam and Kol had more closure. Overall well written and well acted. Kol’s glowup was amazing!!!
Absolutely amazing, so glad I got to see this in a theater because it really deserves it!
First rate movie, Romantic and realistic!
This was a solid romantic discovery movie with solid acting and good on screen chemistry. The weird thing about it was it felt both too long and too short at the same time based on how the movie was done.
Good old fashioned acting. No computer graphics and no explosions (well one) but just really smoke. Just good acting. Very refreshing when computer graphics dont take over the movies and actors and actresses actually have to act. Well made movie. Ending was odd but, it is what it is.
The story is told with a lot of sensibility. Actors play very well specifically the main character Kol. I love the movie.
Beautiful love story.
live like no other, in order to live like no other - Dave Ramsey
very romantic 😍 love story
Needed captions. Needed skin care for the actors. Needed the camera to pull back. Story… meh. Ending… unsatisfying. I saw it for free and paid too much!
Heartbreaking and beautiful.
Great believable acting, slightly disjointed story line. I felt cheated with the ending but that may have been the intention of the writer.
A basic but somewhat realistic love story but the plit was slow and flat at times.
Film was a bit on the slow side. Was heartfelt and intimate. Ending wasn't satisfying but I would say a good movie.
