Our Body Reviews
More than any of his previous films, 'Our Body' feels like a hug. The camera looks for the body, always the body, because it is very hidden. The beauty of women, whether in joy or unbearable pain, is what drives the scene. Simon's intention is to film female bodies, discarding sexualization, but also the stigmatisation of shame, showing the transformations that occur and structuring it based on the stages of life. The result is a beautiful work of love and respect for the body, women and the will to live.
