Pan Reviews
Ew.
An accurate example of 'an old movie can be a similar to the lackluster films we get today'. The visuals may be appealing but the attempt to retell the tale of Peter pan fails miserably in terms of creating a story one can remember as live action
This movie was my childhood favorite, never understand the hate for this movie.
Watched it with the family, wasn't expecting much but we all really enjoyed it. What's a lovely surprise, good directly and excellent acting. I would definitely recommend it for a family movie night (kids aged 8 and 10)
Dull and forgettable, though not without its moments. Hugh Jackman and Levi Miller are great in this movie, though the film lacks any real charm to it.
Ist very generic plot, and it doesn’t have much finess. I enjoyed the moire overall because it was nice.y favorite moment was when they discovered the hidden room where th e nuns wehre. I can only recommend the movie to a class
In my opinion the movie deserves 3 stars. It was good, but it could have been much better. I think that the book is better because you really got to know the characters well, compared to the film. I would recommend to read the novel instead of watching the movie in school. Some scenes in the film were still quite magical, for example the scene when Peter flies through the fairy kingdom.
I'm convinced that Joe Wright spent his entire time working on this film repeatedly screaming "More Whimsy!" at the cast and crew. This approach, coupled with a boring "chosen one" plot, creates one of the most labored and least successful adaptations of Peter Pan (and this includes "Hook"). Also, both Hugh Jackman and Garrett Hedlund give two of the goofiest performances I've ever seen.
Abysmally convoluted with terrible pacing. I was actively disengaged within the first ten minutes. Our main actors performed well enough, but the story and execution hindered any chance at their talents saving the show.
A different reinterpretation than expected, it has a beautiful setting and well-crafted visual effects that try to distract you from the mediocrity of the generic plot, a good choice for those who are bored but it is easily forgettable.
why the hell are pirates from the second world war singing nirvana😭😭
Congratulations you butchered Nirvana!
Well I think this movie just out of the box idea and not your normal peter pan, wendy story. Don't get wrong I like the walt disney peter pan version but this story just always keep you up through out the movie and just you the excitement and adventurous type of feeling!
The greatest 01 hour: and 51 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Entertaining, fun, and ties in well to the Peter Pan story. Children will love it. Those who criticize its simplicity are missing the point of just being entertained.
Juste BOF. L'acteur de Peter pan est bien. Mais le scenario laisse à désirer.
After seeing Tiger lily, I was done
Saw Peter Pan and Wendy, this movie was 100 times better. Please do a sequel, very underrated movie
A movie I wish they would continue.. this laid some very nice leg work. Considering the junk they just released.. this should have been the direction a peterpan adventure was taken. Now we're stuck with garbage Disney
